Ahoy Friends!

Here comes part 2 of our boat yard adventures, and we're starting to wonder if we've bitten off more than we can chew 😂 Haul outs are always a struggle, so we really shouldn't be suprised at this point that everything always takes way longer and turns out to be more difficult than planned.  We had our trip booked to Sweden already to visit Kazza's family, and we wanted to get as much done as possible while Ryan was still there to help, so with the clock ticking we put our heads down and went for it (with of course a few minor moments of distraction when a dune buggy was calling my name...)

But ready or not, we make the long journey to Sweden which was soooo amazing.  We didn't film a whole lot while we were there because we wanted to take the time to focus on family and have a much needed break from filming and sharing everything all the time, but it was truly a special trip for us.  Every time we go, we realize more and more how much we love it there, and we are definitely coming around to the idea of having a little base there some day when we want to take little breaks from sailing all the time.  And of course Sierra absolutely loved getting in some quality time with Mormor, seeing snow for the first time, and just generally having time and space to run around and explore.  We were able to really recharge our batteries, which was great because we still had a lottttt of boat work waiting for us when we returned to Mexico.

During this video we also mention some really cool plans we have in the works to upcycle our main sail...we are still working out some logistics and details, but you all will be the first to know when they're ready!

We hope everyone has an amazing weekend, and thanks as always for the love and support, you guys are the BEST!

Big hugs from all of us,

Brian, Kazza, & Sierra

Honestly these videos are the best, I learn soo much from them. I know the work sux, well honestly not to the extent you do. But they save us all soo much heartache, keep that in mind when your knee deep in a lazarrett

other than aesthetics, is there any purpose to a boot stripe?

Time to watch! Hey, wait! You don't have to ask if you're crazy. We KNOW you're crazy! Who but crazy people live on sailboats and sail ALL THE WAY around the globe?!?! But I guess visiting Sweden for a while makes you a bit less crazy. Not sure if that's a good thing. LOL : - P

Crazy wonderful video!! A question to Brian? A cruiser named Lauren Landers just installed lithium batteries on her boat. During the video she mentioned that she was unsure of the wind generator being compatible with the batteries so she left it unplugged. I thought of an idea to put Brian in touch with her. With his background maybe he could help. Again much love to Delos & crew. Looking forward to new adventures.

Keep up the great work and videos, they are truly an inspiration! Starting this weekend on our boat chores thanks to these videos. Best wishes.

Guys, your videos are always so well made and narrated. Sierra and Mormor add a real sense of family and love. I enjoyed Super Ryan showing us his commute to the boatyard and promoting Delos T-shirts. Then you snapped your fingers and teleported to Sweden! By the end of these vlogs I am always smiling and feeling good about the world. Thank you so much!

Greetings. Nice to watch all the hard work you did to get S/V Delos ship shape for the Pacific. So wonderful too to see you all having good time with Mormor in Sweden. Kudos too to "your helpers" giving their free time to help with the all the repairs and upgrades. Stay well and safe.

OMG...Sierra is growing up sooo fast! She's like a little girl now, no longer a toddler.

I am wondering, . . . where are all those pieces of main sail are going? PS - When are we going to get that Q & A Live Feed? Maybe Brady and Blue will be included. : - D

Brian Travis

tell me you guys sold out of the t-shirts already :)

Myra Slepoy

That’s it! My smile muscles are getting a BIG workout!! Loved this video; gave the right amount of technical boat work and fun and games. Yay Delos!!

Great video guys, love watching you maintain your home! I was also glad to see Super Ryan lending his skills to help you along :) In Annapolis, while waiting in line at the booth to tell you how awesome you are, I met Ryan just before greeting you guys, complimenting him on his handyman skills. He was also Super Nice and modest - Kudos to his efforts, and yours! Looking forward to the future adventures of Delos!

I liked the tear down and prospect of a before and after of your new homebase. It's a wonderful opportunity especially because you love the labor of love for your new home base. Thank you for including those last minutes.
