Dev Diary, August 28th, 2026 (Patreon)

I almost forgot this week's update because there's so much going on here.

First off, my ex-girlfriend died earlier this week, with the funeral being today. And even if we weren't that close anymore, and it's been quite a while since we broke up, she's the mother of my kids. So it affects me no matter how you look at it. And yes, that's the Mom of the person that inspired me to make Leap of Faith.

On top of that, my Son is also moving into his first apartment, so there's a whole lot of back and forth going on, in addition to trying to get some work done.

Looking at the numbers, the render queue rendered nicely all week, and the output was 300 story renders and 894 animated frames. The totals are now up to 1,895 story renders and 11,764 animated frames, which is crazy, considering it's only been 9 weeks since episode 5 was released.
