Seriously, what's the point of locks? Also besides that point, why would you teach kids how to get around locks?

Locks are used to keep others out when they annoy you too much. And thus teaching kids how to get around locks is the only way to make sure they won't have to sleep outside once they're back home and that their parents regret the time they were gone. Or something like that
