NOTE: There's a rare spot open in the METADOSE Tier, so if that's something you've been waiting to see become available, now's your chance!

Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and... I think I can confidently say that I won't be allowed in the Middle East any time soon after this video... enjoy!

For the last few years, we've been hearing comedians complain about how "you can't say anything without getting cancelled"... so a bunch of them decided to go do comedy in a place where you can't say anything without getting BEHEADED! The Riyadh Comedy Festival, taking place in Saudi Arabia, where they just executed a journalist THIS YEAR, features comedians like Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, Jimmy Carr, Russell Peters, and a whole host of joke-tellers who have claimed to be champions of free speech. Turns out, they don't really care about free speech when they're cashin' those big fat Saudi paychecks!

That Jimmy Carr laugh was spot on!

Buckley just made this video because he wanted to say "posh wanker" 🤣

Mr. Scadoop

Amazing video. Hit the nail right on the head.

Conor Frederick

Now I want to subscribe to Shane’s podcast just because of this.

A Dose of Buckley

Thanks, I'm my own worst critic so I feel like I didn't QUITE get it, but mostly this video was an excuse to do like 4 of my bad comedian impressions so I'm glad you liked it!

I'll just start tossing more British-isms in (especially after my upcoming trip to the UK)

Petty Officer No Class

People in the west do not truly understand the difference between the twitter hoards and literal nobodies not liking you and a government saying "you cannot say that under threat of violence of the state".

Petty Officer No Class

I don't even like stand up and now I give a lot of credit to anyone who turned this down. I feel bad for not looking in to him more. He clearly is principled and I respect it.

Ron

First joke was good can't lie

Shaka, When the Walls Fell

I guess for some people, the conviction of their own principles and morality is inversely proportional to the numbers on a check.

I was about to comment on it too. It was a good impression. Also Jimmy Carr has always been a sellout. I quite liked the time he got caught committing tax fraud and all his comedian buddies ripped him a new asshole for it.

I saw atsuko last time she was in my city. Super great show.

Adam F

4:30 is exactly what popped into my head when I heard Bill Burr was doing this.

A Dose of Buckley

One of those things, right? As the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase used to say, "everybody's got a price". Everyone's willing to take the high road until the low road pays better.

Adam F

Jimeoin probably does need the money.

Aaron Rainer

He still gets ripped for it now, lol,

Shumiry

I cancelled all of my subscriptions a while back to cut costs and see which ones I really wanted to keep. Well, I'm back. I've been watching your videos on YouTube and you are still killing it. Keep up the great work!

Ash Archer

Ahhhh, not many people have principles, or care about them, when it comes to the almighty dollar.

Ron

Hypocrisy is strong among Americans.
