Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! A little programming note first though: This weekend is Memorial Day in the US. Often times, uploading a video on a major American holiday is like tossing it straight into the void, and so instead of releasing a NEW video this week, I'm going to post a Patreon exclusive from back in February for everyone to see. HOWEVER, Friday on Patreon I'm going to post a Q&A, which I'll answer over the weekend.

Anyway, now on to today's business, which is a follow-up to my Clavicular video, answering some questions from the audience, such as "where did this guy come from?" and "how do these freaks become famous?" It's an interesting (and hopefully funny) look at modern Internet fame. Enjoy!

Buckley follows up his recent video on the Internet character known as "Clavicular". A lot of people wondered how he got famous and how he made his money? WELL, turns out... he was Astroturfed! What does that mean? Sadly, not that he was buried under a stadium. Turns out there IS a way to become famous, or at least LOOK like you're famous. If you have about $650,000 a month to spend...

When Cavi was covered by Channel 5, I had no idea who he was but somehow his interview was the highest in view count compared to others for the year (2.5 million vs. 700k-1mil on average). Then Channel 5 followed-up on why he was popular and it's theorized that tech bros and billionaires like Peter Theil are pushing for complete media control.

Petty Officer No Class

No one ever looked up the lyrics to Chocolate Rain. Everyone thought it was a silly little song with a weird hook but it's about racism! I'd say I feel bad for Tay and no one getting that but he clearly got his bag for it so I think he'll live

A Dose of Buckley

I don't know if he really did, that was in the era where YouTube didn't really pay out anything. Hope he did ok but that was released at the time when South Park notoriously mocked the idea of YouTube videos making money.

Petty Officer No Class

He was in commercials and got some tv spots. The vidéo itself probably didn't make money but he definitely got some money from appearances

“Stupid kids will watch anything “ I say as I watch sandblasting and power washing videos…

I’m honestly surprised why any onlyfans girl would want him as a pimp it’s not like he even has a credible platform to offer

Over half a million? I mean... Using 10s of thousands of dollars to customize your face like Saints Row or Avowed is on brand.
