As a New Jersian who's been to Vegas a few times, I don't see the need to fly 5 hours to gamble or see a show when we can drive only 2 hours to Atlantic City.

Yeah valid point, Buckley. Though most right-wingers would probably frown upon the suggestion of traveling outside the US of A just to lose all their money.

I've been to Vegas once, back in 2012 for my 31'st birthday. A little solo trip for few days. Saw "Bodies" exhibit at Luxor, jousting at the Excalibur, "Mob Experience" at Tropicana, "CSI Experience" at MGM, and got shitfaced on a bar crawl from Tropicana down to Venetian and back. Gambled away about $100 just to say I done it. Never really had the urge to go back.

It does feel like one of those places you'd go once and then you're good. I don't really know anyone who's like "Oh man I go to Vegas twice a year, it's so good!" I think it doesn't help that EVERYTHING is expensive now, I used to hear stories of $5 steakhouses and really cheap food (because you were pissing it all away gambling). Now it'll be like "here's a burger place that's $40 for a burger".
