To judge anyone by their appearance in this world is a dangerous thing to do, but judging the portly, treacle smiled owner of the Crimson Curtain was almost fatal to me.

Ask yourself, how does a stick thin street rat with nothing but the ragged clothes on his back become the owner of the most successful theatre in the land?

Well let me tell you, he sold his soul to some dark master! An evil patreon shadow is cast all over him and that building.

How do I know this... Well, I have no proof pre-se, but the facts speak for themself do they not? Staff and even patreons have gone missing, just gone! And the acts, not a single one is natural! Them 5 things parading as clowns or whatever aren't even real! They are vile creatures of pure evil magic! Do I even have to mention the monster that roams the vaults?

I confronted that now enormous bellied charlatan, I knew what I was doing, I had it all planned, what I would say, how he would break down and confess and how I would be heralded as a hero that brought evil to justice. He set them 5 things on me and... and... that's all I remember... well until I woke up here.

I love his pocket faerie!! Just so you know, though, the word is “patron”. “Patreon” is just the name of this place. Although I’ll admit the story is a lot more amusing and sinister if Patreons have gone missing instead of patrons! 😁😉
