Using image references (Patreon)

This comic from 2016 is in my first book of cat cartoons. This was one of those comics that required an image reference. Every so often, I use references to make the drawing process easier. I don't like drawing buildings and cars, so I always use references when a cartoon includes one of those things. I also use references when drawing things like pool tables, pianos, etc. A lot of cartoonists do this. Google Images is awesome.

I wanted the store in this cartoon to have a bit of detail and be recognizable as a Bed Bath & Beyond store. It also helped with the getting the font/logo right.

Speaking of Bed Bath & Beyond, I read that they're planning to file for bankruptcy. Use those 20% off coupons if you have them!
