Behind the scenes: sketch of today's cartoon (Patreon)

Here's the sketch of today's cartoon. I wasn't sure about it so I ran it by my wife to get her opinion. 

She said, "I like what the cat in the tie is saying, but I'm not sure about the other cat is saying. Maybe she could say something like, 'Ooh, that sounds delightful!' Something like that." So I changed it because "that sounds delightful," cracks me up. 

Before my wife began her teaching career, she did cartooning and dabbled in greeting cards. That's how we met. I thought include one of her drawings. She did it a few years back for our daughter's teacher. She'd asked me if I had any Valentine's Day cards that are appropriate to give to the teacher. At the time, I didn't. So she cranked this out in about 20 minutes.
