If Max is snuggling with me, I have to keep pretty still. Now that he's older (nearly 13 1/2!), he's mellowed a little. He'll let me move a bit. Sometimes.

Are your cats like this?

Not really a problem with my two. Marshall sleeps with me. On me. If I move he doesn't really get angry, but as soon as I stop moving, he readjusts his position. Hattie usually doesn't sleep with me but when she does, she is usually on the pillow right next to me. There is, however, the snoring on her part. It is high pitched and squeaky! And, as you noted, the dogs could care less.

Chilly used to love my lap, but now in my 50s, I get restless leg going at night sometimes....so, she gives me an annoyed look and moves to my husband's lap. :) She wants what she wants, and in her elderly years, she gets whatever she wants! ;)

Hey Scott - love the cartoon. So true! I can't move a muscle when they are on my lab, even when I beg them to stay. By the way, I think there is an extra "a" in the cat bubble between "little" and "bit".

Dogs are most definitely more accommodating by in large. Cats want what they want when they want it and DON’T when they don’t.

High-pitched snore?? That’s probably both cute and annoying 🙂

Well, if I develop bladder/kidney issues, pretty sure I can trace the source. 🤔😸
