I like the one panting in the first sketch too. Might be some sort of angle on anxiety for squirrels? Lately I've been seeing Chipmunks hesitate too.

Love them both! Those squirrels are very busy this time of year. We have an oak tree in the front of our house, and they are burying acorns everywhere! (especially in my flower beds) ;) The one panting is hilarious! :)

I'm not sure why I changed it - I just liked the three S's better. A few people are commenting online that the fourth S is Squish

I have to say I think Chipmunks are at least organized. I feel like if the squirrels could take a few lessons from the chipmunks they would learn how to save food for the winter and wouldn't have to be out in the snow all winter. But I'm not sure if squirrels would listen to a chipmunk instructor? Neither should be crossing streets.
