after a long fight WWF had to chance the name mid 2002 because of a lawsuit from the other WWF "World Wide Fund For Nature". By the way, Bret Hart in the 90s was the most popular Wrestler in Germany. And Bret always mention that in his Interviews later, also at his Hall of Fame Speech.

Alvin Everett

I’m ready WrestleMania 10. Bret vs Owen & Shawn vs Razor

Alba

JessDMorgan

Blood is mainly used in wrestling to heighten stakes and add drama, to make you feel sympathy for the "babyface" who is bleeding so much. Comes with the territory. Also, it's very late, as he has really no major part in WWF after this but the commentator is Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and his job is to downplay anything that the "babyfaces" or good guys do like Bret Hart. Historically, he was in Andre the Giant's corner at Wrestlemania 3 vs Hulk Hogan, because he is the Lex Luthor to Hogan's Superman. He does whatever he can to beat Hogan, even turning his friends against him, but thats why he was upset when Piper tossed the bell away. He wants Piper to be the "bad guy" and thats what the match was built on. When it came to straight up wrestling, Hart constantly outwrestled Piper, so Piper had to use cheap shots and cheating to get the upper hand, and the ending was the internal battle, with the good triumphing and Piper wanting to win the "right way" which ultimately costs him. And the whole WWF stuff, long story short before May 2002, WWE was called "World Wrestling Federation" however after losing a lawsuit to World Wildlife Foundation, they renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment. Simple enough. Now personally, I'd say skip Mania 9 and go to Mania 10, because Wrestlemania 9 just....isn't a good show lmao. There's only really a few "wrestlemania classics" I'd say are worth viewing, and nothing from Mania 9 is worth it.

You should learn about the commentators, because they are an important part of getting the matches and the storylines over. There was usually a babyface play-by-play announcer and a heel color commentator. You heard Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse “the Body” Ventura for the first six. This one was Gorilla and Bobby Heenan, who bickered on the air but were close friends IRL. Please find a Wrestling Bio on Bobby “the Brain” Heenan. He was great at everything – wrestling, managing and announcing. You saw him as Andre’s manager. And on commentary during the 92 Rumble cheering for Flair. Looking forward to watching Wrestlemania with you – thank you for staying up for it!

WizZ

the World wildlife fund (wwf) sued the world wrestling federation (wwf) tor using the abbreviation, therefore they had to change their name to the WWE (world wrestling entertainment) and they even had a new slogan "get the F out" xD

Wrestlemania 9 Really? that is one of the Worst Wrestlemania if i were you i Would Skip Wrestlemania 9 and Watch Wrestlemania 10 Bret Hart Vs Owen Hart , Shawn Michaels Vs Razor Ramon And Bret Hart Vs Yokozuna from Wrestlemania 10

Da_Karmaa

If I were to go by the 80th percentile rule that I've began using (meaning the only matches I rate are 4 star or better matches) I'd say that these matches are the best Mania matches here on out Bret Hart vs Owen Hart/Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 10 Bret Hart vs Steve Austin - Wrestlemania 13 Hardys vs Dudleys vs Edge and Christian - Wrestlemania 17 The Rock vs Hulk Hogan - Wrestlemania 18 Hulk Hogan vs Vince McMahon/Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 19 Shawn Michaels vs Triple H vs Chris Benoit - Wrestlemania 20 Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 21 Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 24 Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 25 and 26 Undertaker vs Triple H - Wrestlemania 27 and 28 Undertaker vs CM Punk - Wrestlemania 29 Daniel Bryan vs Triple H - Wrestlemania 30 Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar - Wrestlemania 33 Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan - Wrestlemania 35 Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens - Wrestlemania 38

Lia Garcia

Alba

I didn't watch this one live. My first WrestleMania i watched live was WrestleMania 18. That's when i could actually afford to buy it myself.

Yello909

Even if there were no heels in this match it was still a very electric match with a lot of drama and excellent storytelling! In my opinion this is one of Piper’s best matches and maybe even the highlight of Wrestlemania 8. A great match with two of wrestling’s biggest legends! And hearing Gorilla and Bobby on the commentary made the experience even better! Thank you for another enjoyable reaction and I am looking forward to Wrestlemania 9!

This is an example of everything that makes wrestling great. An entire narrative told without a single word of spoken dialogue between the characters, yet nevertheless containing themes of the rising new star, the frustrated veteran, the fallen hero redeeming himself and passing on the torch. All in the space of a few minutes of wrestling. Wrestling is great.

Ok, let's go through it one at a time - Now that I think of it, Hogan in the Bank is hilariously wild so yes, now I do agree. But still, Mania 9 dear lord... - Shawn and Bret is one of the worst "epic" matches I've seen. It's a 60 minute match with 18 chinlocks in the first 20 minutes and about 40 minutes of filler action. If I want to watch a epic, I'll just watch a better match in Kenta Kobashi vs Stan Hansen or Misawa and Akiyama vs Kawada and Taue RWTL Finals, that same year. - Vince vs Hogan rules because its just two old men hitting each other. Sometimes wrestling is that simple. Also, the best match of Mania 19 but that's a discussion for another time Goldberg vs Lesnar at 33 is full throttle, in your face action for five minutes, and that makes it brilliant Star ratings are subjective as well, so I mean if you think a certain match is 5 stars or not I'm not gonna judge, this is just how I see a lot of it. I don't think Trips vs Undertaker at Mania 28 was that great, neither was Shawn vs Taker at Mania 26 but I included it because it's all apart of a bigger picture.

Hi bunny. Could you please react to the shield vs evolution payback 2014. One day before seth Rollins betrayed Roman Reigns and broke the shield

SolidxSnake

Bret hart matches are always great to watch still to this day

AWR93

Wrestlemania 10; Bret vs Owen Shawn vs Razor Can’t wait!

Joe S

For sure need to do Shawn Michaels v Razor Ramon at Mania 10. The first ladder match in wrestling history.

SS

love your reaction, you must watch Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs The Usos at WM 39 bunny,it's one of the best tag match ever.

sveik

Hey Bunny! The channel Tap out Corner just released a video named "WWE wrestlers who appeared in Animated movies", and I would love to see you react to it, and see if you can figure out the voice before you find out. Have a good day!

sveik

Another thing, The referee will count the pinfall when both shoulders of a wrestlers is on the mat, with the other holding him/her down. When he/she gets at least one shoulder up or touches the rope before 3, the pin is broken.

nWo 4 Life

Bunny, when you get to WrestleMania 12, I recommend reacting to either The Undertaker vs. Diesel, or Roddy Piper vs. Goldust. I suggest AVOIDING Bret Hart vs. Shawn Micheals - it's a 1 hour bore for most part - it's a match hardcore purists might enjoy but not something I'd recommend a newer fan to watch.

Joe S

Honestly Wrestlemania 39 was so good I actually think it had 5 matches better than anything in the first 9 Wrestlemanias. Maybe with an exception for Savage vs Steamboat at 3.

.

Bret and Piper are CM Punks 2 favorite wrestlers of all time

.

I look forward to Bret vs Yokozuna. It's one of the most memorable moments in wrestlemania history.

Joe S

Which one? Wrestlemania 9 or 10? That match main evented twice back to back.

AndrewM

WrestleMania 8 was an awesome show, had a lot of great matches on the card, From The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon) vs Money Inc, ("Million $ Man" Ted Debase & "IRS" Mike Rotunda (Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas father) Shawn Michaels with Sensational Sherri Martel vs Tito Santana, Undertaker vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts, This Match, Ric Flair vs Randy Savage for WWE/F Championship & Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice (Sycho Sid, Sid Vicious) This one I feel stole the show with that awesome pre match promo, to heel Piper wrestling cheap to becoming a slight babyface after not hitting him with the ring bell and showing sportsmanship after losing the belt to Bret Hart. Sadly Roddy Piper is one of the best wrestlers ever to step in a ring who had never been a world champion :o. The Late Bobby "The Brain" Heenan had the nickname "The Wessel" We don't really have this much anymore but, the Commentary Teams use to consist of 1 heel commentator who always roots for the bad buys and a babyface one. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was one of the most savage heel commentators and wrestler managers in history. Jessie "The Body" Ventura & Gorilla Monsoon was the main commentary team from 1985-1991 Bobby "The Brain" Heenan replaced him in 1991 after he left the company and would never return again until 1999 SummerSlam when he Refereed the WWE Championship 3 Way Match featuring Steve Austin, Tripe H & Mick Foley. Bobby The Brain Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon were both Inducted into WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan passed away in 2017 :(. Bret Hart will aways be a national treasure in the wrestling world. Unfortunate his WWE/F career ended between 1997 - 2010 when he returned to the company after burring the hatchet for the Montreal Screw Job with Shawn and Vince. Bret's in-ring career was cut short in 1999 after a botched side kick to Bret's head resulted in a serious concussion at the hands of Goldberg at WCW's Starrcade PLE :(

AndrewM

WrestleMania 9 was Hulk Hogan's last WrestleMania appearance till 18 in 2002. Sadly found WrestleMania 9 a rather disappointing one as it didn't really have anything super big or memorable on it besides Bret vs Yokozuna and the ending of the show.

Lia Garcia

Bret hart Vs Shawn Michaels 1 Hour Last Man Standing Match is On Of the best Wrestlemania Matches Ever and not Boring at all

nWo 4 Life

That's your subjective opinion which you're entitled to. As someone else has stated in this comments section "Shawn and Bret is one of the worst "epic" matches I've seen. It's a 60 minute match with 18 chinlocks in the first 20 minutes and about 40 minutes of filler action." I concur with this persons assessment. It also has zero pinfalls after 60 mins. People expect it to be amazing because it's two of best workers ever but it simply wasn't imo. The Rock vs. Triple H iron match match 4 years later was far superior again imo. Shawn vs. Bret being overrated is a common one within wrestling circles. I recall reading insider magazines 20+ yrs ago saying same thing for example. 60 mins is a long time - and that's not including entrances - not to mention the match is longer then 60 mins because they do overtime. I personally don't think it's a good match to show a new fan.

Alba

I watched it when i was new and thought it was awesome tbh its also were shawn won his first world title

Alba

Agree theyre both genious at entertaiment

Ryan Mulligan

Piper VERY rarely lost a match clean, the fact that he put Bret over with a pinfall loss was a testament to what he thought of the man.
