In Inspector Morse‘s penultimate episode, The Wench Is Dead, Lewis effectively takes the lead on the investigation due to Morse’s failing health. A subtle piece of foreshadowing for the series finale. When Lewis finally presents his theory of the case, Morse constantly interrupts with a single word: “Indeed.” What many viewers miss is that this was John Thaw’s understated British tribute to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s legendary “What?” chant. Where Austin disrupted opponents through sheer volume, Thaw achieved the same psychological dominance with impeccable restraint. Such was Thaw’s respect for the Texas Rattlesnake who breathed new life into what had become a dying sport.. IMHO “Indeed” was every bit as devastating as “What?”

This is it. This is the PPV where WCW begins it's death spiral. The NWO Elite Vs Horsemen rivalry that was meant to dominate 99 was thrown out the window because Hogan wanted to turn face. I've heard some people say it was because Flair wanted to turn heel but he wasn't the one with creative control brother.
