The pen might be mightier than the sword, but it don't hold a candle to my peace-keeper.

The Complete Gunslinger contains the definitive version of perhaps Mage Hand Press's most fun and magnetic class to date. It comes with 16 subclasses for gunslingers of every stripe and even more class variants tied to the gunslinger's setting, so you never run out of options for your character.

This master of gunplay comes packaged with an extensive list of firearms, ranging from muskets and assault rifles, to rocket launchers and futuristic blasters -- everything perfectly balanced with other options in 5th edition. If you haven't played with the Mage Hand Press firearm rules at your table, you should pick this book up for these guns alone!

Lastly, the book contains a number of options for other characters: feats and spells, so that other characters can enjoy a bit of gunslinging fun, without jumping into the gunslinger wholesale.

Hey all! Quick note: I plan to expand this book in the next few weeks with a list of magic weapons to round it out a little more. The Kickstarter kept me pretty busy, so I've been a little behind my normal production schedule, but I hope you like the (almost) finished product here!

Do you think there would be any balance issue with opening up the whole list of deeds and letting a player pick any six?

Stacie Winters

This is so cool. You guys do amazing work.

Richard Ascencio

You guys are the best. Just when I got the itch to roll up a new gunslinger you guys bring the motherload of new features.

Joan Mulberry

How about complete gadgeteer next

Joseph Blanc

This is great. Is the laserist going to be in the Dark Matter Book?

Cece

Excellent work, just one question: what are the stats for a bayonet? I'm assuming something dagger like?

Ninja_Prawn

I think that was in the gear section of Weird West, from memory...

Graeme Disley

I believe it was in the High Seas book

Ninja_Prawn

*actually checks* It's in... both. With completely different rules each time. Finger, that might want looking into.

Mage Hand Press

I've made it consistent across the two versions last month, I think. I'll have to fit a sidebar in with the bayonet

Ninja_Prawn

Guess I haven't got the latest versions, then. At least it's been sorted out.

Pit Wizard

Question about the Gun Tank. Using mounted weapons unmounted requires you to be at least Medium and have a Strength score of at least 15. The Gun Tank's Heavy Gunner feature says that you ignore the Strength requirement for Mounted weapons. However, the Creed itself has those same prerequisites! Something is not lining up here.

Mage Hand Press

My problem is that I always have the itch the roll up new gunslingers.

Mage Hand Press

Probably not, but the fact that earlier era deeds are a little stronger is no accident; it's a way of balancing out the little quality-of-life benefits you get from newer weapons. So, if you're looking for a better balanced experience, stick to the suggested eras. If you're cool with some stronger action, you can open them up.

Mage Hand Press

I think Complete Warden and Channeler are in front of it, but yeah, it'll be a thing that happens.

Mage Hand Press

I'm thinking about it, but no promises. It comes down to issues like formatting and space spacing

Mage Hand Press

Yup, that's because the prereq needs to be lifted. Good catch!

James Klein

the singularity emitter has a weight of 400gp listed is it meant to be 400lb or is it a total misprint?

Frank Bone

I love how the idea of a gun tank is to have a big strong guy with a machine gun, but it’s arguably better at having weaklings running around with high dexterity and a Gatling gun 3 times as heavy as they could normally carry.

Nette

Absolutely loving Gunslinger, though I can't help but feel that Twice-Damned's Marked for Death feature is a little underwhelming for a capstone? It doesn't feel as flashy or strong as something like Clusterbomb for the Grenadier, though I can't think of anything that would really take it's place.

Magic, Mushrooms, Mead

Question. When looking at the "Variant Deeds" under the different Eras, it says "you can pick the following two Deeds in place of two of your normal Deeds". The Risk feature doesn't say that you choose deeds. Are they supposed to be chosen like the Battle Master's Maneuvers? Or do you know all of them and the era ones replace any two of the others?

Greymire

You know all of them and can choose to replace any 2 with the era ones at your discretion
