I haven't been keeping this one much of a secret -- but what I haven't told everyone yet is that the Witch is one of my favorite classes we've written so far. I penned almost the entire class in one sitting, and it came out as a great merger between the pathfinder witch, and our own MFoV take. I genuinely think that this one will be as well liked as the Alchemist and the Warmage. Here's some art the wonderful Mr. Kirby has done for us!

Also, at the end of this month we'll also be releasing the 50 Magic Items book to everyone! (It's also a great little book, and I released it early to our producers as a token of thanks -- I'll be doing that as often as I'm able.)

In other news, as everyone's probably noticed, I'm finally doubling down on revamping the site a little bit. There should be previews to each patreon book up there, which will provide yet another way to navigate this site until they implement tags!

Looking forward to the new class! And also glad to see the 50 Magic Items book isn't staying producers-only.

Altanius

What party role does the witch fill?

Mage Hand Press

Great question! The witch is going to be the first ever debuff character in 5th edition! She gets a system of Hexes that normally target and cripple a single enemy in some way.

Altanius

Does the witch have to be female?

Mage Hand Press

Nope! I've already got a sidebar in the book, and I'll copy it here: Male and Female Witches Witches are commonly considered to be only female, but in reality, male and female witches exist in equal number. This misconception is due to the fact that male witches are often called Hexers, or are incorrectly deemed Warlocks by common folk.

Altanius

Awesome! My group is starting the giants campaign in October, so I'll have another class to add to my possibles list.

Mage Hand Press

As always, we release new content at the end of the month.

Im really looking forward to this........I have been checking this page every day. I might have a problem lol

Mage Hand Press

I'm happy that you're excited! You probably don't need to check it every day, though; as I mentioned to Kristopher below, it's releasing at the end of the month (like, precisely the end -- think midnight of the of 1st of next month.)
