What do you think of the movie F/X with Bryan Brown?

Santos

My documentary question got my fellow Junkions pondering something that I'm now going to ask you guys. What are some good junky documentaries?

Tim

What movie (or character) do think deserves another shot? I'm thinking of situations like Judge Dredd/Dredd where the first try was "in name only" and the reboot was "THAT'S IT!!! YOU DID IT!!".

Characters who accept their unusual circumstances very quickly......whilst watching Gremlins at Christmas it occurred to me that the Mum took to murdering the Gremlins very quickly and easily without any concerns.....do any other characters seem to accept their unusual circumstances any quicker than her?

We had a discussion on the FB page going off of Santos question about film documentaries last week. I was wondering if you had any favorite "junk food" documentaries, docs that are kind of nuts and either not traditionally made or not about a traditional subject. For myself, "Trekkies" is a favorite junk food doc. A lot of fans complained that is was not necessarily an accurate portrayal of fans. As someone who has been to 20 Comic/Sci Fi/Horror Cons: it was. Another might be "King of Kong" or "Tickled". Do you have any?

P.S. I know I ask this every other month, but: Have you see "The Lure" yet? I mean, since you like "Der Samurai", I just hope that you'll love that film. (Sorry I keep asking, but...well..."my geode must be acknowledged".)

So we know Brian listens to HDTGM on the reg, but as a self-professed 007 aficionado, is he aware of the stellar James Bonding pod w/ hosts Mathews Mira & Gourley??

I asked them something similar. The response on Facebook (which I did mention) made me want to do a follow-up question.

Will you guys ever cover Frequency?

Unapologetic Geek Out (UGO podcast)

I just discovered "peepza". That is peeps on a pizza. Sounds like a junk food pairing if i ever heard one. Is their a film you can think of that would go with this ungodly creation?
