OK, I came to the conclusion long ago that you guys are not "music guys". This is not a dig, it's just some people are and some aren't. But still, think about getting on board with Bob Mould. Hüsker Dü may not be either of your speeds, but Sugar or his solo stuff (with members of Superchunk as his backing band) is probably right up your alley.

Also, I think I'd be more against a "Dreamgirls" episode than I am against a "Last Action Hero" episode. Not because I don't like the movie. Just the opposite. It's just that in what way is an academy award winning and universally beloved movie under the same umbrella as "1990: The Bronx Warriors" and "Razorback"? How is Dreamgirls "junk food"? It's fine dining. (note: I'm not against "Last Action Hero" because I think it's "fine dining" rather than junk food. I'm against LAH because it's one of those cardboard tasting grainy power bars that isn't really good for you and satisfies no one ;-p )

I watched the movie before listening to the podcast and I thought the movie was just okay. The whole time I kept thinking that I would like the stage version better. On the other hand, I did like the music and thought that John Cameron Mitchell gave a fantastic performance. Also, this podcast made me consider things about the movie that I didn't while watching it, like whether or not Hedwig can truly be considered transsexual.
