Welcome back to the podcast that's always frank and earnest. As Black Christmas rolls on, Brian & Cargill recover and share their fond memories of The Long Kiss Goodnight.

They discuss how this film helped Shane Black find his voice, make Samuel L. Jackson a star, and how the circumstances of its release sadly kept Shane from making another film until 2005. All this, plus, the guys get Krank-y, Brian Cox's strange law enforcement career, and why spies should always invest in Corelle dishes.

Don't forget to download and share this long foray into The Long Kiss Goodnight.

I love this movie. I might have to revisit it soon.

Also, I'm begging you guys to do an A la Mode on Spider-Man : Into the Spider-Verse. This may be the junkiest animated movie to be released in theaters in recent years and is, in my opinion, the best movie with Phil Lord's name on it.

I saw this in the theater by myself. I was so inspired. I love it so much glad to see it on you guys' list!

Counterpoint to Mavis: I saw this in a PACKED auditorium on opening night at my local mall. In fact, the 2 shows after me were "sold out". Thus, I was convinced it was going to be a hit at the box office. (Sadly, it was not.) Still, it holds up well 22 years after its release.
