My Student Film Accidentally Ripped Off Never Too Young To Die? - Film School Rejects

The latest Junkfood Cinema comes with a confession. It's true, I'll admit it. A young, overzealous film nerd named Brian studying at a small Indiana college wrote and (partially) shot a movie that, in concept and story structure, largely plagiarized the forgotten 1986 teen actioner Never Too Young to Die .

I love that Stargrove has a Q before he becomes a spy.

Please do a future episode on Runaway, also with Gene Simmons as a villain. That movie is great.

It's weird being the only commentor.

It wouldn't let me add one during the first couple of attempts, I'll keep trying. Meanwhile you can download it from the FSR page

I caught this in November after hearing about it. At first I thought someone meant "If Looks Could Kill" but then I saw the trailer and wow... It's fun. There's no other way to say it. Also, this is a weird thing but watching where Ragnar's bar is...that's the same outside set they used in Streets of Fire for Torchy's, the bar the Bombers hang out at. I know that ramp anywhere.

This thing really looks like a turd, I love your enthusiasm for it though, I'll watch and see.

It's pretty bad, but the action scenes are surprisingly well done.
