One Junky Summer trucks on, and this week we wrestle with a  longstanding challenge. For years, Brian has wanted to cover Sylvester  Stallone's macho-piece Over the Top, but Cargill couldn't get over his distaste for it. There was however no avoiding Over the Top  when discussing the junkiest flicks of 1987. Plus, returning guest (and  Alamo Drafthouse programmer) Greg MacLennan threatened to fight the  hosts if they didn't bring him on to cover it.

Will Cargill fail  to meet Brian and Greg halfway? Or, like Lincoln Hawk's trucker hat, can  this episode finally turn Cargill around? Listen to find out!

I saw this movie at the cinema as a kid, accompanied by my mother. We were the only people at that screening. It's still a movie that I love to watch. When I come across it on TV it stays on. It's a cult movie for me. And I loved this episode, thank you!

This is Google's description of the movie: A trucker (Sylvester Stallone) yanks his snooty son (David Mendenhall) out of military school and goes to Las Vegas to arm-wrestle.

My dad and I had a somewhat similar experience (we were 2 out of a total of 4 people in the theater) while watching Stepkids which is better known now as Good Girls Don't Cry...They Get Even.
