Ah, yes. The dreaded moment of updating Unity. Only takes a couple of hours to fix all the issues xDAnd there is another update which I yet have to install. This should be easier to fix though (hopefully)
Lately, I am highly busy with PSS. I am full into that topic and don't want to interrupt it just yet.
Most of the time I am busy with the inventory system, but I switched here and there for whatever I needed. A zoom option for example and enhanced player movement.
I progress in a slow pace. This reminds me of how I started with Actionscript in Flash for 'zum Damenhaus'. But I do really learn something. Currently it feels like my time goes 25% into creating PSS and the other 75% are there for learning. Including trial and error. And I still need to get used to the Unity Engine. For example: I wanted the player to be able to discard stuff out of their inventory with right click. And I didn't get it to work. Such a simple thing. Though I am still happy with myself, I tried and tried and tried, and with 2 more hours I would have maybe found a complicated way to make it work like I want. But I'll leave it be.
So instead there will be a small button on the inventory slot that will remove the item.
I heard that the inventory system is indeed probably the most complicated one in an RPG. Well, I will see about that. Doing the basics right is still imporatant for me even if it takes more time.
I assume that I will be busy with the Inventory for a couple days and then I (most likely) start with a HUD: health, stamina and cum meter (looking for another term). You know, the usual stuff.
Either way, I am highly motivated to work on PSS.
I will use some more time before I'll work on a fixed version 4.0 for zDh. I take notes of bug reports though.
