So the other take on marriage is you want your kids to grow up with both parents and have them be stable and not deal with certain traumas as they grow up. Also, for yourself, it’s the feeling that you found a partner that literally made you forget all the worst you thought about humans and that makes you want to partner up for the rest of your life

Okay y’all can say all that negative about marriage. Sure. But let me play a little devil’s adv. I wake up every morning next to the woman I love. I go get breakfast with my darling little girl while my wife sleeps a while longer. We get to play games, sing songs, and eat food together. My wife wakes up and I make her an omelette. We spend the morning chatting together before I go to work. If marriage is done right, it’s the best thing because you consistently get to spend time with the person you love the most. That, along with the security that you’re both in it for the long haul, makes it worth it. Every day, I actively choose her and she actively chooses me. There are days we fight. But we always come back stronger than before. That’s what marriage brings.
