Now you have to react to “R+L = J “ in youtube to see all the scenes you have been missed the whole show about jon snow parents It’s very important before you watch season 7

Fhd

Fire 🔥

“ Theorize themselves “ WATA !! It is already there, The video is a compilation of shots that are already in the series, but they overlooked them.

Christophe

Ah Ramin Djawadi, you rat bastard, you did it again. You waited almost six whole seasons to bust out the piano for the first time, and then you hit us with that score? You sly dog... That whole first fifteen minutes would have been nothing without the score. The build-up is insane, starting small with just the piano, then the small discordant children's voices, then the cello joining in with those disquieting arpeggio triplets, and finally the organ for that massive sound. I love playing that piece on the piano, it's so beautiful, despite being so simple fundamentally.

Oscar H

the hound spent like 2 seasons traveling with Arya across different maps..but now we see traveling faster than ever seen. These guys are moving at the speed of a private jet while on horseback

joel mcjoelerson

ah Chad casually dropping Lady Stoneheart on 'em post-episode lmao - the potential of where those brotherhood episodes coulda gone...

Chris Bruneau

Arianna and Maple, as you look back at the whole series, did you ever really believe that the honorable Ned Stark would ever cheat on his wife and impregnate another woman? nope! it all makes sense now!

Ryley

Very honorable man who unfortunately had one conspicuous stain on his honor turns out to be even more honorable than anyone imagined. Anyway... Robert's Rebellion only happened in the first place because he was supposed to marry Liana Stark, but the Prince, Rhaegar Targaryen, "kidnapped, raped, and murdered her." Buuuuuuut... Ser Barristan talks about how kind and gentle Rhaegar actually was, how even though he was good at fighting, he hated it. Daenerys remarks that he kidnapped, raped, and murdered Liana though, and Barristan just kind of politely scoffs at that. Littlefinger tells the story of the joust where Rhaegar won, and instead of giving the rose to his wife, Elia Martell, he rides by her and gives it to Liana Stark. Stannis, in response to someone talking about Jon Snow being a bastard, simply says "perhaps, but that was not Ned Stark's way." He had an inkling what was going on. In the first Three Eyed Raven flashback, where Ned Stark barely survives the fight with Ser Arthur Dayne (guy with two swords who just wrecks Ned's entire posse), before they fight Ned tells Dayne that Rhaegar was killed at the Trident (the big decisive battle of the rebellion that Robert won) and asks why he wasn't there to protect his prince. Dayne simply replies "Our prince wanted us here." Dayne is one of if not the best fighter in the world at that time, and instead of bringing him to the big decisive battle, Rhaegar has him guarding Ned Stark's sister out in the middle of nowhere. Lastly Oberyn Martell tells Tyrion about how Rhaegar abandoned Elia - Oberyn's sister - and their children and his duty, for another woman. And as a result Elia and her children were killed. The hints were there throughout the show. That last thing isn't the most telling of the hints, but it is perhaps the most important one. Not all of what Oberyn said, just one of the things... duty. As Maester Aemon told Jon all the way back the beginning, "love is the death of duty." His two fathers - his biological one and the one who actually raised him - practically epitomize the two opposite sides of such choices, and being torn between those two things is the core of Jon Snow's character arc.

The end of this season is rapid fire BANG BANG BANG. Love your reactions and will always love this show (even if the travel/teleportation madness is a sign of the changes in the writing that start to occur once they ran out of book material). Glad that you are now able to piece together the R+L=J puzzle!

Miguel

Probably the best two back to back episodes. The music, the build up. Love it. The "For House Lannister" cut when Tommen makes his ill advised high dive attempt... Chefs kiss.

Chief Doodle

That Ramin Djawadi score walked so that the Succession score could run

Tim F

Davos Seaworth's raw emotion when exclaiming "you killed her!", always makes me tear up. Liam Cunningham became one of my favorite characters instantly.

Moonman

High level figuring out, really fun watch

Chief Doodle

Thank you so much Team Diegesis for reacting to one of my favorite shows ever, this has been fun.

Diegesis

I might have to agree. never thought about it before.

Eric Wallace

When they started out the show, they had two very specific rules for the music: no harps, no pianos. They didn't want it to feel like typical medieval fantasy. This episode they dropped piano in for the first time for effect. Also, the way to think about how fast people move around the map now, is that how much time has passed and they just aren't showing it.

Rhaegar is Daenerys eldest brother. He would be first in line for the throne, any child of his would be second in line for the throne. Any child of Rhaegar would be Daenerys nephew or niece. ***Spoilers for a 20-year-old book that is a part of a series that hasn't had a new book in 15 years*** As far as things that were in the books that are never mentioned in the show, Catelyn Starks transformation into Lady Stoneheart is my personal favorite. Catelyn's body is thrown into the river after being murdered at the Red Wedding and later found by Lord Beric Dondarrion, who sacrifices his life for hers, resurrecting her but dying his final death in the process. She ends up being the leader of The Brotherhood Without Banners but it's no longer the Catelyn we knew. The physical description of her is pretty gnarly, but the only way she can speak is by covering her slit throat with her hand and even then it's hard to understand what she's saying. She is vengeful and ruthless, killing anyone she comes across that she thinks was involved in the Red Wedding. Just to show how much she had changed, she even meets Brienne later on and when she sees the sword Jaime gave Brienne, she is convinced that Brienne is working with the Lannister's and is down to have Brienne and Podrick killed. She brings an interesting thought about what happens to people when they die and are brought back after a longer period of time. Maybe hinting at what might await Jon in the books.

Honestly, this is what made season 6 my second favorite season (3rd will always be my favorite), the Machiavellian of it all. That and because I legitimately didn't see it coming. Even with Tyrion foreshadowing it last episode when he talked to Dany about what the Mad King had planned.

Athasin

Nothing does eerie quite like piano music.

Athasin

Say what you want but Cersei is that chick. You humiliate her, she takes it, and then goes to violence the first chance she gets.

Joe Blankenship

I was really bummed that we lost Margaery. She was one of the few characters down in King's Landing that actually had some sense. I could care less about the rest of them.

Athasin

So what Arya did was very fitting because there is an old North lullaby (or something) about a man who broke hospitality and killed his guests. And his punishment was eating his sons.

Athasin

I mean he did cheat on his wife. He just didn't impregnate her. He used his affair with a woman during the war as a cover for who Jon's mother was.

Athasin

No Spoiler Family Tree Explanation: The Mad King's kids were Rhaegar, Viserys, Daenerys We all know Dany. Viseryrs was given a gold crown by Khal Drogo Rhaegar was married to Ellia Martell (Oberon's sister) and had 2 kids with her, who were killed by the Mountain. Rhaegar kidnapped Liana Stark who was betrothed to Robert, which started Robert's rebellion. So IF Liana and Rhaegar had a child, that child would be Dany's (bastard) niece or nephew.

Centarius

Okay so basically in the simplest terms, this means that John Snow is a Stark and Targaryen. This ALSO means his father is Prince Rhegar Targaryen, son of the Mad King and heir to the Iron Throne, which means Jon would have been the heir to the iron throne if Robert hadn't usurped the throne. Jon has a bigger claim to the iron throne than Daenerys...

Travis

React to R+L=J video pretty please!!

Jonathan Blaze

Best episode of the entire series. + Cersei has the biggest come up in the history of Westeros. At the beginning of the episode, she's on trial for her life. At the end of the episode, she's crowned Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Damn.

dylan s

Gdi they took Game of Thrones off of Binge in Australia because they finally decided to bring HBO Max here. I really don't want to pay for another subscription service just to watch this here lol :(

Eamon

To bad they ended the show here and never made another season, would have been great to see how it ended but at least they stopped before the writting got too silly.

Alicia Hauskins

I love season 3 more than season 6 as a whole, but this is my favorite episode of the entire series. Maybe my favorite episode of all of television.

HelloDarion

God, I forgot how incredible this episode was. Just completely non-stop jawdropping scenes back-to-back. Legit contender for best episode in the series!

Sam Rogers

i feel the same way about star wars. would have been nice to see what happend to luke

Ludus Aurea

DAKINGINDANORF !!!!!!!!!!!!

Ludus Aurea

You’re embracing the dumbest criticisms the internet had to offer. There are time lapses. Fires of that magnitude burn for days by the way. Westeros is modeled after the uk. River lands to Kings Landing isn’t that far of a trip and not every scene takes place at the same time. People act like they’ve never seen film before when it comes to this show.

OldManGrim

Even though Jon was born out of wedlock, he isn't a bastard because the consummation was between two highborns, Rhaegar and Lyanna. It's a matter of lineage

Ryley

I do agree with the other commentor though, a reaction to R+L=J would be a great recap at the end of the show.

Joshua Luzania

I too agree it'd be a nice short little extra vid to react to the RLJ video that is just all the clips from the show that reference Lyanna and Jon. It's also good to see which characters the show tells us sort of pick up on something being odd with Ned and Jon.

david p

The Winds of Winter is easily the best episode of the series and rivals Ozymandias from Breaking Bad as the single best episode of TV ever made.

☆kat☆

Love that you noticed that. I always do too and I think its such a nice touch.

Jacob Livingston

With the amount of stuff yall have consistently predicted im so surprised yall didn’t think that was Arya right there lol. These last 2 episodes are absolutely incredible. Just peak television. Love the reactions.

Jacob Livingston

Serisouly lol thank you. Not all the characters are in on the same exact timeline at all times.

Aj

I disagree. Outside of the first 20 minutes (which, granted, are the best part of this entire season) I can barely recall anything from this episode that's good. The beginning sequence is great, but that's not enough to save the rest of this episode from being a boring and badly-written mess.

Aj

I'm honestly not sure what people see when they say this is the best, or even one of the best, episodes the show has to offer, let alone one of the best episodes of TV ever. I'm convinced they've forgotten either the early seasons and how good they were, or they've forgotten how mediocre the majority of this episode truly is. Sure, the opening 20 minutes are stunning, with the musical score especially (really the only thing worthwhile in entirety of season 6), but beyond that's it's just more of the mediocrity that this season is known for.

Alex Nowak

Stop being a buzzkill, no one wants your negative opinions. Let them enjoy the episode.
