Wooooo. Cant wait for you guys to start house of the dragon

Ray H

Btw, Tyrion was talking to Bronn in season 1 about the Vale and how it cannot be taken over cuz of the way it’s built and Bronn said, “Give me 10 good men and I’ll impregnate the bitch.”

Hey guys no one takes the white walker problem seriously is because it has been thousands of years and they're just dismissed as nursery rhymes. Imagine if someone random whom you don't know at all just randomly came up to you asking you to put away all that you're doing to help him fight zombies and ghost with no evidence and the only proof being trust me bro???

Tim F

Big ass wall is some kind of proof.

yerfaic

Yes because a big ice wall 5 billion miles away that has also existed for thousands of years is ironclad proof of an imminent ice zombie invasion to Daenerys, someone who was born in Dragonstone and lived in Essos all her life

Sam is my favorite character in this episode. Look at you mr plastic surgeon baby daddy who stepped up to raise a kid that isn't his. And look at him working on his master's in theology and history so he can help his best friend back home. Sam gets an A+ in every avenue

Chris Bruneau

RIP, Diana Rigg, she was such an awesome character!!!

FW27

Jon could have explained himself much better. But the lady with three full grown dragons who has seen all kinds of weird mystical shit not even being the least bit intrigued by the mention of a zombie army is wild to me.

Remembering Barristan talking about Rhaegar, and how he hated killing. "We all love doing what we're good at." "I don't."

Ludus Aurea

Hopefully y'all come to the realization that Dany actually sucks, a lot, by the time you get to the finale. Most people didn't.

Joe Blankenship

It sucks that Jamie is so likable when he's around Tyrion or Bron or Brianne. But then he keeps going back to Cersei and he's stuck going along with her bullshit.

Matthew s

I hate how Jaime lost his ability to spar verbally as the show progressed. He just stands there and eats shit from Euron and Olenna as they destroy him.

Daymee

I like the little detail that Cersei's chambermaid has a cute little pixie cut to match hers.

Christophe

I think they intended it as him having become a better, or at least more level-headed person, "turning the other cheek" so to speak, not letting himself be baited. But yeah, the way it comes out just looks pathetic. But also, the writers haven't really ever done "verbal sparring" well ever since being forced to write it themselves and not rely on George's dialogue. It often just comes across as childish and cringe to me. Euron's and Olenna's lines are pretty pathetic too. "finger in the bum" is on par with the "bad pussy" line.

Christophe

Kind of spoilery Ludus, I know we're all getting ahead of ourselves here but let the girls figure things out themselves. As to the quality of the foreshadowing, I'm sure I'll have more to say about that at the end of the series.

Christophe

With all the talk about how rushed the last couple seasons were, I forgot how booooring they also are at times. Jeez, the back-and-forth between Dany and Jon, and the torture monologue by Cersei, both went on for sooo long, and it all feels like stuff we've seen already. We get it already, Jon "this squabbling is pointless" Snow, and Daenerys "I'm the rightful queen" Targaryen, and Cersei "I'll hurt you the way you hurt me" Lannister. And this show used to be known for long, drawn-out dialogue scenes that nevertheless managed to never feel boring or pointless, but were deeply compelling and engaging. Long time since those days.

Depression hole has been added to my diction now

What they don’t explain is that in the last 7 years they developed these super fast sails and horseshoes that quadrupled the speed of ships and tripled the speed of horses.

Jonathan Blaze

Jon was so stupid in this episode talking to Daenerys. The writing is terrible. She remains true to her character and her motivations. But Jon is suddenly written to be very hypocritical. He says saving the world and defeating the army of the dead is the most important thing. But suddenly bending the knee and who's ruling Westeros is more important than getting Khalessi's army and dragons? Both Daenerys and Tyrion offered to defend the north from any danger. Jon was acting like a moron in this episode.

PurportedGrey

100%, that's a problem I had with S2 of HotD, why stretch a story out with meandering scenes with some having legit dead air. Instead of just going to the next scene that has an effect on the plot or current events like the first 4 seasons.

PurportedGrey

That's one of the best storylines in the books, Jaime's journey from book 1-5 is the best character ark writing ever. And they just throw that in the toilet in S5 and definitely in 4 with Joffery's funeral scene.

Christophe

Well I don't want to get into spoilers and I'm sure we'll get to it when we get to it, but I'll just say that for HotD season 2 it wasn't entirely the writers' fault. A lot of it was an unfortunate coincidence of HBO cutting their budget and stripping the season down to 8 instead of 10 episodes combined with the writer's strike which made a lot of, usually standard, last-minute rewrites impossible. But as I said, I'm sure we'll get into it soon enough.

Pabb

Imma be honest with you, it would be hard to outright bend the knee to the daughter of a man who killed many of my family. Targaryen was also stuck with that narrative for YEARS. Now you achieved so much, became king in the north, something you probably dreamed of while being a bastard of Winterfell. And now you want me to gave all that up and do it to a daughter of a man who butchered my family? It is a character flaw but a realistic one. I know the writing isn't the best it's been and I have my own gripes with it, especially season 8 but I don't think Jon's reaction here is it.

Pabb

I don't mind them jumping around because we don't have to see the journey, I just mind them when one character is so much faster in comparison to others.

Pabb

I need to disagree with you Christophe because some of the verbal sparrings between characters in earlier seasons weren't George's creation yet were SO GOOD. Especially Varys/Littlefinger & Arya/Tywin

Is it meant to not have audio? Or am I having technical issues
