Is it just me but even when i match up the reaction in a perfect frame, my hbo episode still goes faster by a tiny bit which is so annoying

I have the exact same issue when I watch LM Reactions doing the SOpranos. I have no idea why everyones playback speed is different.

I’m not sure how y’all are exporting and editing these, full length reactions, but try exporting in constant frame rate instead of variable. It helps stop that slow desync. Also, if you’re watching locally, use VLC to fine-tune sync or slow one video down to 0.99x

Huh really? Thats weird, for me it was still out of sync just like the previous episodes.. Literally everything else they watch on hbo is frame perfect everytime except of sopranos

We already use constant bitrate for that purpose, but I'm thinking, especially after what Dan said that Hbo has inconsistent bit rate on their end. cause different people seem to have diferent experiences. I know i'm in the minority with LM reactions. You and I seem to have the same "too fast" issue.

I may have a solution to this... 1.) Press play on the video, then immediately stop 2.) Right click on the video, then go to Inspect 3.) Go to the Console tab 4.) Paste the following code at the very bottom, then click Enter document.querySelector('video').playbackRate = 0.9591 5.) Close the Inspect window, then play the video Works every time. Hope this helps! 🙂

I had the same problem with LM reactions too! I haven't watched this episode yet but haven't noticed any issues with the first 3

Yeah, LM reactions are a bit tricky. I have to sync my video and change the playback speed and that helps a bit, but it's because their version is that European version which, for whatever reason, is a little faster than the US version. I still have to adjust the version on my end a few hairs every few minutes, but I've gotten pretty used to it. I will say that now that I have HBO Max, it's easier to sync with these versions that y'all do, with band of Brothers and this.

I'm all caught up now, and its been fun seeing these Eps after many years. Also, Arianna's knowledge of psychology has been fascinating to listen to in the context of discussing the Dr Melfi scenes.

Man I really hope yall can eventually do more than one Sopranos episode a week. Thats really slow walking this show
