Now it'll be another two years for the next third of the game, followed by two more years for the final third, hopefully for the people that loved this season, they will film S3/4 back to back, like they should have done with S2/3. Cause yall are in for a long wait based on what Mazin has been saying, especially with that S4 announcement.

Ellie wasn't in the ocean, she was in Elliott Bay in Puget Sound near the port of Seattle. Seattle doesn't directly border the Pacific Ocean.

Yes, next season we will see the story of the last three days from Abby's perspective. Probably will get a lot more of her backstory as well. But it's almost certainly not going to be released until 2027 because that's just how HBO rolls with their big budget prestige series.

Ladies the whole story is about revenge 😭😭😭😭😭. That’s essentially the entire plot of the 2nd game. I do agree w a lot of what yall said Ellie is acting ridiculous and not thinking about anything. But that is the story. And a ton of this stuff is straight out of the game. Season 3 is pretty much going to be Abby’s POV back from day one when Ellie and Dina arrived in Seattle

Remember when Seth called Ellie (and Dina) a slur and Ellie didn't accept his apology, or the steak sandwiches he made. How she wasn't thankful that he was helping her sneak out of Jackson, wasn't going to trade rifles with him when he offered, and almost didn't accept his handshake before she left... yeah that was the shows way of telling you that when Ellie holds a grudge she HOLDS a grudge and she doesn't let it go even if it's more reasonable to do so.

I don’t like the writing differences they’re making compared to the game. The writing in the show seems kinda cringy sometimes and just weird? Compared to the game. The game is much better in my opinion. Idk. In the game Jessie isn’t even mad at Ellie, he wanted to come and help. They made Ellie much more badass in the game. S1 show writing was much better imo

With how horribly Bella fits in season 2, and how horribly childish she is written until the last episode (despite being cold ruthless and calculative in the game) I think viewers will like Abby a lot more since S3 is basically going to be 90% her perspective. Not only is the actress casted perfectly (no big muscles though but that's fine why should we poison an actress with steroids) but also when compared with Ellie she will be much more likeable.

This felt like half of a season. I really enjoyed the first season, but this one left me feeling annoyed.

I haven't played the game but I agree some of the writing is clunky, over explaining things. I would give this season a 8/10.
