Captain Malcolm Reynolds and his ragtag crew of smugglers and outlaws take on a job transporting mysterious cargo—only to discover it’s two fugitives, Simon and his sister River Tam. As tensions rise among the crew and with the Alliance hot on their trail, Mal has to decide whether protecting River is worth the danger. Packed with witty banter, space-western charm, and the start of unforgettable character dynamics, Serenity sets the tone for one of TV’s most beloved short-lived series.
