Athasin

Davie (the gambling addict), that is the one and only Robert Patrick - Terminator 2 - The Faculty - X-Files And most recently - Peacemaker

Elesh

David Scatino (the gambler) is played by Robert Patrick and you may recognize him from Terminator 2 where he played the T1000

Vasili Brasinikas

The Davey Scatino plot line all but ensured that I will never seriously gamble. Way too scary.

Athasin

Mind you he's $45K in debt to Tony and another $8K in debt to Richie... $53K in debt to the mob is INSANE!

Chris Bruneau

this episode really shows the brutal truth of how nasty mobsters are--they will hurt and even kill you if you owe them $$, even those who you thought were "friends"

Bxb

Disowned for being a bastard 😂 Ariannas been watching too much game of thrones

Adam Vialpando

Very true. Many people put all the blame on Davey since he kept badgering Tony about joining the game. And Davey is a grown man responsible for his own choices and much of his own suffering is self-inflicted. But Tony could have said no. It's not as if Davey forced him to let him in, Tony could have easily decided 'This guy has serious problems but he's a friend and I won't take advantage'. Imagine how he treats people who aren't friends. It's especially telling when Junior talks about admiring how the credit card companies bleeds desperate people dry.

Chris Bruneau

Adam, I wrote a paper in college on how the business model of the mob was adopted almost identically by the credit card companies-- first, they allow you to borrow at high rates, then you pay a small amount monthly, so you NEVER pay down the principal--just interest every month . the only difference is the CC people don't break your fucking legs if you don't pay!

Pyt

I don't think I could ever just roll up to a friend and ask for $20k. That scene made me so uncomfortable.

Owen

Silvio gets pissed during the poker game because its bad luck for someone to sweep your feet. I worked with a manager in a kitchen who freaked out when someone swept over her feet lol

TinCan Cosmanaut

Watching Tony Soprano shake down T-1000 is a ball

Vvincent

Did Tony have any reason to believe he had a gambling problem prior to the game?

Vermars

Every rewatch this episode stands out, top 5 Sopranos ep for sure
