Season 1 is great, but S2 and S3 are amazing also!!! each show is sited in an exotic location. We honeymooned in Hawaii, so that's our favorite spot ever, but each new season locale (Italy and Thailand) are literally breathtaking!! Cant wait to see your reactions to next season, its VERY different

I dunno if u guys mention it but Armon was in Last of Us. That love story solo episode with nick offerman where the dudes play piano and garden together then die in bed together. He got the role cuz of this show.

I'm pretty much the exact opposite - I'm torn between S1 and S3 as far as which I think is the best, but I definitely thought S2 was the weakest of the three (but still very, very good television nonetheless).

Getting to this late, but one of the things I find really interesting about Paula as a character (who I definitely sympathize with) is, while she accuses Olivia of using her for cred, that’s kind of what she did with Kai. She encouraged him to steal the jewelry because—while she definitely believes colonial exploitation is wrong—she also felt bad for participating in it at the resort. She didn’t try to steal the jewelry for him because she didn’t want to get caught, and she didn’t do anything to try to call it off when it was clear he might get caught. Even after he was apprehended, she didn’t put herself on the line at all. Just like Olivia is “participating” in the struggle by using Paula as a proxy, Paula did the same with Kai as her proxy. Like, did she agree to be a guest on this trip (wherein she knew she’d be going to a resort at which she’d be catered to by exploited native Hawaiians) not knowing the history of the state? Of course not. She wanted to assuage her guilt, but found a way to do it where she was at little risk as possible.
