I'm not sure if you recognized Lizzie, she's played by Faye Marsay, you saw her before in Game of Thrones as The Waif (the weird rival girl to Arya in Braavos) and as DS Frank (the cop) in Adolescence.

We are working with our Patreon specialist and taking some recommendations what do you prefer over the youtube link rather than a direct uploaded video? The video on platform is technically better for us but we ant to be able to tell patreon what matters for people vieweing the videos regularly

I always prefer the YouTube uploads simply because the video player is just objectively better. Things like volume control, speed control, and pause/play are all better implemented, and for whatever reason it tends to buffer better or more smoothly. Plus the YouTube player has this hover timeline preview which is useful if I want to like skip the intro or something like that. But it's not a huge issue obviously. The Patreon player mostly works fine.

Youtube is easier to work with on mobile as a second screen. Returning to the same spot mid video after a day or two, checking other apps, the pop out screen, and lots smaller functionalities that are easier to use on the youtube app.

I don't know if there's anything Patreon can offer that beats the YouTube link. The YouTube experience beats it by a mile. Admittedly, to start, the YouTube link and Patreon don't work great together. It's a teensy bit clunky because when in this site, when you try to full screen the video, at least on Firefox (or at least on my side), the video restarts and bounces out of full screen. It didn't always do that, but for the last few months, it was slightly annoying. It just means following the link to YouTube though, so no biggy. I usually did that anyways. BUT, when I get to YouTube, I have access to Firefox apps that enhance YouTube video functionality (darkened borders, fast forward/rewind control, speed, color enhancements, etc). It's just plain set up in a way and feel that I like and am used to. Even if Patreon replicated functionality, I like my UI. Also, when I'm done watching the video, I've usually taken the time to have something queued up from my recommended feed for when the commentary is done, and I can keep the watch session going. Not having these uploaded to YouTube means I don't get to use these. It's not the worst thing in the world though. The gripes are small. I'm curious, why the change in your process? Would you consider uploading to both and supplying a link to YouTube?

Yeah it seems like patreon has done more focus on the creator side but maybe for the user or viewer side at least for our content there are some good points to raise!!
