Saw this in the theaters with my mom. Still not to that point of therapy yet

Pyt

Interesting choice for Halloween, I wish there was an actual wolf.

windextor89

looks like we are skipping spooky season this year.

Henok Tesfaldet

Can we keep this video player please, for the picture in picture?

Eric H

I like the YouTube links. I got web apps that work with YouTube. I like that these work on the site way better, but I don't mind the extra one step to get to YouTube just so that I can keep my app functions I don't get here.

"Mommy's getting real tired of wearing panties."

Kevin Landon

Maple's eyebrows are spooky enough, lmao, no hate, love you Maple ❤️

A Leo film is never a bad choice, and this is a must-watch. Time to lock in and kill a bag of candy corn

This movie frustrates the ever-living shit out of me, not for anything it did. I hate this movie for the people who LOVE this movie and don't understand it. There's people who watch this movie and see Jordan's life and they want it. They go "OMG, that's sooooooo me. I want that, bro" without seeing that Jordan was a disgusting, degenerate, MONSTER. They go "Dude, Margot Robbie's so hot. Hur hur, he called money 'Fun tickets'. That's awesome. Wow, look at that yacht. Throwing midgets is hilaaaaaarious. He'd be cancelled nowadays for sure for that". The man victimized thousands of people. He ruined lives. He beat his wife. And people celebrate this movie. It's the same people that watch movies like Goodfellas or Casino or The Godfather or any other mobster movie and they leave taking away some notion that these were people to aspire to. That mobsters were "classy" or that they had an "old school charm" or led their lives with a "code of conduct", when in reality they were gormless thugs who terrorized and bullied everyone, including themselves, and all of them, to a man, stole, ratted out, and betrayed everyone in their proximity. Some people really can only see the ascetics of success. Wealth blinds people, even when it's fake. This movie is fun, and it's well made, and well written, and it does a good job depicting Jordan and Wall St as despicable... but it's just a damned awful shame it was released and consumed by an audience who can't even spell the words "media literacy"

YOURE NOT HELPING, ERIC!

DNice

Agreed, id also add that both with Goodfellas and this, it starts out wonderful and ends terrible, but not as terrible as you'd think. Scorsese likes to do this: take a horrible person and show the audience how their own life looks, from their perspective. It is intentional that it looks "glamorous/awesome/ etc" . Notice how the scene where Jordan drives high, he thinks he made it home no problem, but the cops come and reveal to him and the audience the damage hes done. Thats why i love Scorsese.

Hey its halloween! I wonder which spooky movie it's gonna be ... (opens patreon) AHH!!!

Kevin Landon

Live your life, fuck people that suck, they don't matter, don't give them the attention they don't deserve

Kevin McGarrity

Yeah, there were a couple of token efforts around the start of the month and suddenly superheroes and Seth Rogen for the spooky times … Kinda random, but I’ll take my X-Men wherever I can find them.

Kevin McGarrity

Leo DiCaprio being an aggressively annoying douchebag for three hours - isn’t that horrific enough??

Michael

First-cousin marriages are legal in New York (also uniquely permits uncle-niece or aunt-nephew marriages if Half-Blood) and New Jersey.

Chris Bruneau

Crazy to believe, but most of the film is based on real events!!

Chris Bruneau

Also, this movie is the Guinness book of world records for the most F-bombs! Its over 560!!! 🤣🤣😊

Baloney George

It’s like she looked into the Chernobyl reactor

You’re supposed to push Webistics

Diegesis

Clark will be so happy about this when he edits this movie 😵‍💫 LOL

Diegesis

we have been working with our patreon specialist and we would actually prefer to keep the videos on platform but maybe Eric can you elaborate more on what the web apps are? We talked with Patreon about youtube hyperlinks being "clunky" for people on here with them but are open to others viewing experiences!

Diegesis

We just watched our movies a bit early and sprinkled in over the last couple months!!

Kayce Stubblefield

I appreciate this approach. That way, as a viewer, there are still plenty of previously recorded horror-themed movies to watch (or rewatch) here or on the Youtube channel as the fancy takes you, but the site as a whole doesn't have to go Halloween-themed for a whole month...which is just good business. After all, no one would want them to only watch Christmas-themed stuff for the whole of December either.

Kayce Stubblefield

Eh...I prefer following the link to Youtube personally, but I'm not privy to the technical considerations, of course. In my own, limited, experience the Patreon video UI is subpar compared to Youtube. Every time my phone screen tilts on mobile, it exits fullscreen. The progress bar never fully goes away, so when holding my phone I accidentally skip around a lot and have to find my place again. Less of a problem on desktop, but I don't always use my destop. Just one person's opinion.

Joey Miller

Maple thinking it was just a fun story for the whole first half is hilarious

Henok Tesfaldet

Don't you find overlaying this player's video on whatever desktop streaming platform you are watching the film on to be the optimum way of viewing these reactions? YouTube doesn't even compare on a desktop in my opinion.

Diegesis

Completely changed my viewing experience for the second half hahaha
