Akainu was actually right it’s wasn’t possible to stop it at this point. Cobby is too naive. They had black beard white beard pirates, they had to agree with stoping too and marines 3 sides. This is the only way to stop.

Only shanks could stop it. Marines and white beards lost too much people they wouldn’t be able to stop. It’s not Shanks war it’s White beards. It would be I respectfull for him to help white beard and shanks have to think about his team

Bro you almost said words of legendary Uzumaki Khan “Where were you 10 episodes agooooo!” 😂😂😂, he yelled it seeing Shanks entering the war. And yes, he was holding up Kaido who wanted to enter the war, so he was busy.

Funny enough; your question of "how are you here" is like; one of the biggest questions people had for a while. the "why" as pretty obvious, but what isn't is the fact that at the start of the war, Shanks was over on the other side of the world, and yet somehow ended up in Marineford in the span of.... well, actually about 2 hours. (We never get exact details on how long Marineford war lasts, but common estimates are between 2-5 hours.)

Is it a war crime to hunt the pirates? They were established criminals to begin with and they came to war with "justice". In a normal setting of war, hunting the escapees is wrong but in that case both sides are not criminals. They are different groups on either same side of the law OR at least they are just not established criminals from before conflict.

Sure, im saying in todays world its a war crime to attack and kill if the other side is retreating and surrendering. Doesnt matter if they are criminals, they are human first, it goes against humanity to just slaughter someone who is done fighting, obviously done fighting and running away. For example, even outside of war, if someone attacks your family, breaks in, murders your loved one, u see it all happen, and then that person sees u and starts running away, u take a gun and shoot them in your driveway in the back. U cant argue self defense, cuz they were running away. Not saying its right, just saying it would be a war crime, what they are doing to pirates here lol

Yeah I see yours and Cobys side but... who says these pirates will stop pirating and not be a problem in the future. Navy 'takes care' of pirates on the spot when they see them out in the sea randomly. Unless there is an another important goal first in line.
