i agree sometimes the remake went too fast and it didn’t make sense i think they even skipped a canon scene

As long has he does the right thing and skips that one episode that totally breaks the theme of the whole arc on account of the animes useless filler? He might as well watch the original eps. If he decides he wants to speed up the pacing; I'm sure he'll let everyone know.

Maybe it's a japanese thing, but at least the way they talk about it in OP; "Scars on the back" means "Signs of retreat". As in; "I'm going to face the thing that wants to kill me head on, and I won't give it the chance to hit my back by trying to run away."

Sure.... the fact that Luffy clearly said "Ma-rin- fo-do" must mean that the subtitle is just a massive mistranslation XD
