This fight got kinda messy. Todoroki was going to use a devastating attack against an unhardrned tetesutetsu, logically it would have killed him if the mud kid didn't interfere. But I liked how it ended up and the mud kid definitely deserved his spot in the recommendations

Something tells me Testus focus on his endurance is entriely based around the fact that he didn't beat Kirishima in the Sports festival. Now that I think about it: I wonder if Kirishima could also tank Todorokis flames the same way? I think you're definitely forgetting that Stain was way more of an assassin then a fighter. He's kinda like Shinso actually in if you aren't deliberately playing around his quirk, he's just going to win and you can't do anything about it. Doesn't matter how strong, fast, or powerful you are; you let Stain cut you, you've basically lost right on the spot.

Nah kirishima can't absorb the heat unless I missed something

I'm gonna stand by the opinion that Shoto wasn't humiliated in this match. In fact, when you consider the fact that heat is used to harden steel, it's actually impressive how far Tetsutetsu had to push him in order to secure a DRAW. What you're experiencing is something I like to call "main cast bias".

AccordingToLucky

Sure, he didnt get humiliated, it was just very unexpected!

Even though I'm not at all interested in this arc, I have to admit that this episode was very good! The thing with Shoto is that he's impressive when he uses fast attacks that are also powerful or precise. But the moment he faces an enemy capable of neutralizing his abilities, he's quickly at a loss. That being said, he would have won against Tetsutetsu in a 1v1, but he realized his limitations. Bakugo and Deku are much more versatile than him.

AccordingToLucky

Im starting to see that! Bakugo and Deku might actually be stronger

Nicholas Kent

At this point in the story, I think they are stronger than him, yes. Or at least they have greater ability to adapt to the opponent they are facing

AccordingToLucky

Honestly, Bakugo is impressive af! Midoriya got a legendary gift power, Todoroki was created to be a god. Bakugo the only one who got lucky af by nature ahaha

Nicholas Kent

Yes, you've summed things up well xD The question remains, however, what do you do with these abilities? Who manages to be legitimate despite the fate that favored them? For me, all three are legitimate. Bakugo because he's a genius who learned to use his quirk effectively in addition to being a skilled fighter. Deku, because the greatest hero on the planet recognized his heroic potential and his will to improve. And Shoto, because he managed to overcome his trauma and his upbringing to succeed where his father failed. Things haven't been easy for any of the three

Nicholas Kent

I wouldn't say that xD Bakugo very often acts like an idiot. This has led him to fail at certain challenges and even get captured by the League of Villains, who were convinced they could recruit him. So, yeah... Deku and Shoto are much more in touch with reality.

AccordingToLucky

Bakugo's personality is like 90 percent of his appeal lmaoo Still a fucking legend ahahaha

Nicholas Kent

Of course ! Bakugo is a good character !
