Blue buddy

I love the ending of this arc thank u for the uploads

Philip

The Sea Kings said they've been waiting a very long time for Shirahoshi to be born because they said it takes hundreds of years for a mermaid to be born with her power. The Sea Kings referred to Roger from 20 years ago as "not long ago". So they have been waiting a "long time" to fulfill this destiny to guide the Noah. So both the ship and Joy Boy must be old figures. This will be explained much more very soon, so I won't say anything more about it. Roger being able to hear the Sea Kings was foreshadowed in episode 400 when Robin asked Rayleigh about Roger's writing on the Skypiea Poneglyph. Rayleigh said Roger could not decipher the writing, but he simply had the ability to hear "the voice of all things" These were such good lore piece episodes. BTW the last episode of this arc is 574, and 575-578 is a filler arc

I can’t keep up😂😂 I’ll watch all the episodes I missed until I reach here now.

Star

WOOO main stuff of the arc is done. just the post arc stuff left which is always great and then we heading into a short filler that sets up a movie that oda had pretty big involvement with, same as strong world with shiki who escaped impel down. After that is a new arc which im sure youll enjoy a lot. And prolly everyone else too after the snooze that is fishman island.

Star

id say its for you to decide if you wanna the filler lucky. but if you do then i strongly recommend watching the movie afterwards as they are a direct tie in for it.

Holy... this amount of episodes feel insanely good. Lowkey would rather have this pacing of op reactions than having u react to other anime.

g27

Maybe they can understand the sea kings because “Joy Boy”, and Roger is always smiling and laughing and he’s a boy not a woman, and Luffy is always joyous and smiling and he’s a boy too, he ain’t a woman lol. Probably Joy boy is just a nickname and that’s not the real name of the person.🤔 Dumbass theory lmao.

I told you so! After the flashback, all we want is for the arc to end! Because FUCK HORDY! HE'S TRASH! Willfully trash, but still! Shiraoshi is the central character of the arc AND one of the key characters in the manga! Clearly linked to all the mystery surrounding the One Piece and the Void Century! The power to control the Sea Kings is insane! Luffy is also able to understand them. The most famous theory is that he can do this thanks to the power to "hear everything"! Rayleigh mentioned it regarding Roger when he told part of their past to the Straw Hats in Shakky's bar! He told Robin, "We didn't have the knowledge of the scholars of Oara. But Roger had the power to hear everything. That's all." As for Joy Boy, all we know at your point in the story is that he lived during the Void Century because the Poneglyphs mention him. So he would have lived 800 years ago! That's also the time when the World Government was created. And Neptune said that Noah (obvious Biblical reference) was built several centuries ago, during Joy Boy's time. He also said that Joy Boy and the ark Noah are connected. My theory (which still hasn't been confirmed) is that Noah was built so that the fish-men could reach the surface to achieve a specific destination. Their island is a segregated cage, as I told you a few episodes ago. They aren't meant to stay there. And that's why the Sea Kings (some of whom are centuries old) know Noah's importance. It might even be a promise they made to Joy Boy (the promised day)! I think Luffy will eventually destroy Fish-Men island. It just wasn't meant to be this time! If he does it, it will obviously be to liberate the population. He won't do it with bad intentions. Again, this is just a theory. We still don't know for sure xD Oh, and Jinbe in the crew! I was just as happy as you were back then!

Krowft

Yeah, Luffy dies now, the remaining 1000 episodes are filler

Krowft

Lol, they should rename the crew to the Circus Freaks pirates XD

g27

It pains me how much potential Ace has.

g27

Plot twist, Luffy was never the main character, the one piece was.

g27

How can the sea kings act surprised when Luffy heard them, if they spoke to him directly? Like they spoke to him and told him “stop”, and then they become surprised he understood that? So how did they choose to speak to him in the first place?

Philip

When the sea kings said they will need help from "them" to fix the ship, the actual translation was they will need help from "that clan/family"

g27

Hordy and Decken not at least dying is insane. Decken literally decapitated his own head with his own axe when Hordy dodged, but when Luffy gets cut he’s about to die and the plot focuses on who’s gonna give him blood. And Hordy should’ve died from mostly the toxicity of the drugs, how can this drug have no least upper bound for toxicity? That’s not to mention of course Luffy breaking his rib cage and punching his guts multiple times, but of course there’s no internal bleeding he just goes to sleep and wakes up later in the story. It’s actually the same with Fukaboshi who acted like nothing happened.

Nicholas Kent

I don't see the connection to everything I've written, but whatever. Personally, I couldn't care less about Ace. He was incredibly cool when he was introduced and had an amazing presence! BUT he was an arrogant idiot. He thought he was way stronger than he actually was and relied far too heavily on the power of his Devil Fruit, even though he was part of a crew with diverse abilities. His techniques lacked originality. Endeavor from My Hero Academia is much more impressive, while the characters in One Piece are generally more unhinged! He deserved to end up as a doughnut! Yes, I mean it. I genuinely do.

g27

I agree, he was an arrogant idiot. I don’t know where he got his stupidity from because his father seemed much smarter.

Nicholas Kent

No, Roger was a daredevil too. That's already been said. The difference is that Roger was more powerful and lived in a less dangerous era. Furthermore, he wasn't at risk of being killed for his very existence from birth. Roger's journey is much more like Luffy's than Ace's. What exactly is Ace's record? As a pirate, that character has only ever suffered defeats or drawn matches.

Philip

Ace actually does have one huge W

Nicholas Kent

In the Roman Ace ? I couldn't care less. In the manga, he get defeats or drawn fights

Philip

what is Roman Ace?

Nicholas Kent

A manga novel in a few volumes about Ace's 3 years as a pirate before he crossed paths with Luffy again.

g27

Wasn’t he smarter too? He wrote poneyglyphs in Skypia right? He knew what D stands for and taught that to Whitebeard, and he was smart enough to get the one piece, which by the way, no other being in this world has ever been able to get. That guy knows secret knowledge. As for Ace, no one taught him anything. Wasn’t Shanks taught by Roger himself, Zoro taught by Mihawk, Luffy taught by Reyleigh?

Nicholas Kent

Rayleigh said that they were not able to understand the language of the Poneglyphs. Regarding the Fish-Man Island arc, we only know that Roger went to Skypiea and left a message that he didn't write, according to Rayleigh. Ace was part of Whitebeard's crew for several months. He didn't gain anything from it in terms of raw power.

g27

Yeah because they didn’t teach him. Whitebeard knows Ace has his father’s haki, and Ace has conqueror’s haki, but no one taught him anything on that. He just taught himself how to use his fire devil fruit powers. No one trained him like how Reyleigh trained Luffy.

AccordingToLucky

I would say u might be on to something,' if this truly was not a dumbass theory lmaoo

What adds to the absurd odds of no other Straw Hat pirate having the same blood type as Luffy is that Luffy's blood type is the most common in the One Piece universe. So, that's like throwing a dart at a dartboard, and instead hitting a mouse right behind you.
