Regarding the whole “Why didnt One For All users seek out someone with regeneration Quirk” question: i think theres two ways to answer. The first is that, in yhe same way that all might and Deku were chosen, im pretty sure they focused more on the soul of the people then their strength. Are they a good person at their core? do they have a innate heroes heart? Thats probably way more important to them then having a good quirk (remember: All Might was also quirkless originally too) The other way to answer, in the idea of why they didnt plan for the future; I’m 99% sure they didn’t know that this was a thing either. When Deku first unlocked Blackwhip, All Might seemed to have no clue what was happening. The fact that it takes the ghosts inside of One For All to explain whats going on leads me to think that none of them actually understood that it was possible to pass their own quirks on until they died and they find their soul locked into One for All. They even said that Deku was the first person to be able to do this. So if they didn’t know that their quirks would combine: why go out of their way to try and find the most efficient quirk combos in their users?

Also just what you said at the end about Dabi: I actually dont think that he has learned the ability to regulate his body temperature. Shoto also kept saying the entire time “You’re overheating, your burning up” etc. I feel like Dabi is just taking the Midoriya approach and just willpowering his way through the pain. Like hes going “oh yeah: i know im literally burning my flesh off my bones right now, but I’m causing Endeavour to suffer, and that makes it worth it. I am willing to char myself down to a skeleton if it means I get to see this man be emotionally destroyed”

Really? Didn’t we see last ep when Toya was talking about his backstory that he watched his sister being born? Edit: yeah, i just went back and rewatched the last reaction: Endeavour even says “We had more kids because my wife wanted Toya to have siblings, but Fuyumi was born with Ice powers” (and to be triple sure i even googled the question) but Toya is for sure the oldest sibling. Im guessing Fuyumi might’ve introduced herself or been referee to as the oldest at some point? But thats easy enough to explain that since they think Toya is dead shes the oldest (living) sibling.
