I don’t think killing people makes you bound to lose your humanity. I’m still not against purple Megumi killing the prisoners, they had it coming, but he could’ve gotten away with it if he didn’t kill the others. I hated how Jinwoo just sat there watching the Sasuke wannabe (because one arm and a sword, and fire style LOL) getting butchered by purple megumi. He could’ve handled that from the beginning, but no he had to think of a way to enter with style LOL.

Theres an anime called Sword Art Online that is similar by being in a vr game word and leveling up inside but its also way different at the same time. Still really good but has a bit of romance in it which turned a lot of people off from it but I would still recommend a watch. It does have mutiple seasons each with differences.

Small change from the manhwa here. But 1 of the prisoner wasn't dead when Jinwoo was about to face the boss of this dungeon. His vocal cords were cut so he couldn't speak or scream. Jinwoo (knowing what the criminals did) took the surviving prisoner and threw him to the boss and let them tear him apart while he was unable to even scream because of sliced vocal cords. It was brutal but deserved :)

Also, the manhwa says kill and not defeat you enemies. The anime probably soften the word for some bs reason. Which I really don't understand because this anime has gore and he even say kill instead of defeat.

You know, strange that they didn’t get the two dude’s bodies back, they just left them there. And strange they didn’t ask for purple Megumi’s body too, because they know they killed him, and so they could’ve brought his body back, but they would’ve found that he died of poison too, which doesn’t track with the story.
