I think he popped out of a gate in the us, and so they couldn’t understand japanese and they brought hwang to translate. So the dad entered a gate in japan, got lost for many years and popped out of a gate in the us. The us don’t have perhaps the database information of hwang, and we don’t know what rank he was when he dissapeared yet 🤔

4:10 in the dub isnt obvios like the sub :) they were americans inside a portal, he speaks japanese i think or whatever there😅 he basically entered a portal and it was shut befor he could exit and he was trapped inside 10:00 SUNG like sung jinwoo :) Edit, u got it more or less, he is now in america that why the database was blank

Lucky his father got into a portal in korea and 10 years later he exit it în America that’s why those guys say that he isn’t from there and don’t understand his language so they got a translator for him, one from korea that was living in America, that S class guy. After he saw Jinwoo stuck in the red portal last episodes he thought that Jinwoo can’t survive the red gate and just went home in America that’s why he even told Jinwoo’s father that his son is dead. And in case you didn’t understand that S class guy is from korea but permanently moved in America

Lucky he can't arise the demons on any of the floors much less the bosses because he got a notice when he was standing atop those demon corpses that you missed that the reason he can't bring them into his shadow army is because there mana is contaminated so he can't arise them.

His dad was in the demon dimension for 87K years? Lucky they said that 1 hour in the human world is 1 day inside the portal. And his dad has been stuck inside missing for 10 years ever since the portals opened, so he was there for ~87,600 years, how did he not die?! And the power to bring forth the ultimate catastrophe has awakened, is that Jin woo or is he talking about something else? Because he said the magic, the portals, and the beasts are just the tip of the iceberg, and that’s what Jin woo’s about, he’s just a hunter that can level up. So it must be something deeper, it must be what the ice elf wanted to say but the god statue didn’t allow it. Because Jin woo’s just a pawn for the god statue. Jin woo doesn’t have that voice in his head. So is the ultimate catastrophe a war between the powers with the voices in their head against the powers that don’t have that? Do you think the god statue is part of that army that doesn’t have the voice? Or is it the one leading it? It’s just a theory but it’s still doesn’t track because the voices is all about humans, kill the humans, not about the other beats that don’t have that voice in their head. So is the power that doesn’t have that voice want to oppose the killing of humans? What did the humans do anyways? This got a lot deeper, but weird, because everything happened just 10 years ago lol.
