I am watching this show with you and have no idea of future events. When jinwoo turned the ogres against their master I remembered something jinwoo's dad said "there is an incoming very strong threat that can turn our hunters against us" or something like that, imagine if he's talking about his son? I think it's very possible

The line you kept missing that the captain said when Jin-woo asked permission to kill the boss was “Please do. By all means”. Which, because the English language is a little odd that way, is either him trying to say “Show no mercy” or him trying to to still be lighthearted while he’s almost dead and saying “Well, if you feel like you don’t have anything better to do, sure, be my guest!” XD (My head-canon is that its the latter lol) Also: I don’t think these bosses just see Jin-woo as being *like* a monster; I think they know exactly what he is and why he’s not longer human, but every time they try and put that into words, thats when they ‘glitch’ as though they’re being prevented from being able to say it.

I like Solo Leveling but I admit I think I'm one of those people that think it's kinda an aura farming show. Don't get me wrong I think the worldbuilding is cool, awesome fight animations, and Jinwoo is badass ofc. But besides Jinwoo I honestly don't remember any of the side characters or their names lol. They seem to be just power scalers for Jinwoo to appear way more insane. Everyone has generic motives and I dont find the stakes to be serious because I know Jinwoo is just gonna save the day anyways

I don't think it does, I remember he said a threat is coming and he only described it. If this theory is true, I don't think he knows that his son has that ability, maybe when he becomes publicly s rank? That would mean that the God statue is building him up to be a final villain of some sort. I don't think I will be waiting for season 3 at this rate lmao if they take took long I am picking up that manga.

Man this show is so cool. Awhile ago, after i finished season 2 i wanted to rewatch with a reactor and i looked into your reactions (i don’t know if you remember me asking on your YouTube channel if you reacted to solo leveling) since you’re my favourite reactor and i knew when you said that you’ll maybe react to it in the future that you’ll like it.
