The guy who was dismembered by CP9 with Marine tattooed on his face with the weird haircut, his name is Berry Good, he ate the Berry-Berry fruit and he can separate his body into berry-shaped orbs and he was defeated by Franky's Strong Hammer in Enies Lobby :)

Luffy is nowhere near on equal footing with Doffy. It must be taken into consideration that he has been greatly weakened by Law AND that he's determined to maintain the Bird Cage which drains part of his energy. And yet, he remains stronger than Luffy! xD No matter how Doffy is defeated, it will have been a collective effort. Certainly not an individual victory. Oda made Doffy's workload heavier so that the fight would be possible. But I prefer that to Luffy managing to beat Crocodile and Ener thanks to the plot! Also, yes, Luffy is right. If Doffy dies or loses consciousness, the Birdcage will vanish. That’s generally how environmental-manipulation Paramecia abilities work. Just look at what happened with Sugar ;) Finally, Doffy became the group's leader thanks to his Conqueror's Haki and his status, but Trebol is clearly the group's godfather. Yet, after this flashback, it is easy to understand why Doffy considers Trebol, Diamante, Pica, and Vergo (the first Corazon) to be his "Four Aces"! He launched his pirate career thanks to them when he was a child; they are his true family.

After Law landed Gamma Knife on Doffy, instead of using another Ope-Ope attack Counter Shock, why didn't he just decapitate him. Law was emotional about Corazon or Plot? There seems to be lots of plot-convenience moments in this arc lol

Don't think you need this, but from now on, the haki types might be translated slightly differently. Of course, same meaning though: Conqueror's Haki -> Color of the Supreme King Armament Haki -> Color of Armament Observation Haki -> Color of Observation I love seeing Conqueror's clashes. Maybe Shanks and Whitebeard had a Conqueror's clash on the Moby Dick, but we didn't know much about haki back then. I think that episode was only the second time the word haki was mentioned, the first being in EP 151 where Blackbeard said Luffy's bounty was too low for how much haki he had.
