In these later episodes, I'm struck by two things: First, just how vital to the show's success was Trapper and his ability to sell the most ridiculous nonsense with a straight face. Second, how little use they're making of the best possible mitigation for Trapper's absence: Hillbilly Paladin Monster Hunter Wild Bill.
