Podcasting Day: The August Podcast Roundup (Patreon)

Hello and welcome to August! Fuck you August, you no holiday having piece of shit. It was too hot to go do anything, so we stayed inside with five free articles and eight podcasts.

Lydia Bugg started us off by upsetting us with Upsetting Day: Nathen Mazri’s Sin Buisness, where anti-porn breath strips and a legally distinct horny cat finally joined the wellness industry. Merritt K nerded out about a cursed Fantastic Four choose-your-own-adventure book in Nerding Day: Flame On. Mike Drucker made ultraviolence safe for children with Nerding Day: RoboCop: The Animated Series, a cartoon where RoboCop shoots lasers, eats soup, and remains technically marketable. And Dennard Dayle closed out the month with a double feature. First, he found enlightenment hiding behind two asterisks in Nerding Day: F**k It. Then he finally delivered Nerding Day: Psychic Yoga, the only known workout for stretching your hamstrings and your relationship with God.

Anyway, onto the podcasts! The Dogg Zzone spent August opening Frank Dux’s The Secret Man and accidentally fell in for five straight episodes. Every week they reached the bottom of his lies and discovered another basement.

After five weeks of Frank Dux, we needed the sober documentary realism of Mountain Monsters. The final season continued with a blood bath, a dead dog, and Trapper’s birthday. Somehow, the birthday was the cruelest one.
