Podcasting Day: The October Podcast Roundup (Patreon)
Content
Hello and welcome to the final Sunday in October! Halloween is nearly here, and people are paying good money to walk through buildings full of things they don’t want to see. Why pay for parking when you can do that right here?
Lydia Bugg took us back to 1951 for Fucking Day: REFORM SCHOOL GIRL!, a comic that promises scandal and mostly delivers terrible boyfriends being rewarded with kisses. Tom Reimann nerded out about Nerding Day: Quantum Leap: The Ghost Episode, in which Sam investigates a fake haunting in a house that also has a real ghost. Merritt K upset us with Upsetting Day: Dad’s Revenge Stories, the AI-generated YouTube stories where secretly rich dads punish their ungrateful families. Mike Drucker rounded things out with Nerding Day: Highlander for the ZX Spectrum, a sword-fighting game with three fights, no music, and very little interest in whether you’re enjoying yourself or not.
Oh shit, podcasts! The Secret Men have reached Part 13, and Frank Dux is still introducing people. Mark Mahoney, Rusty Shackles, David Bell, and Jason Pargin join Seanbaby and Brockway for four more episodes about one man’s quest to name every man.
The Secret Men: Part 10 - Courtesy of the Author - with Mark Mahoney
Mark Mahoney joins The Secret Men to read more from the autobiography of Frank Dux: the world's greatest lover, spy, karate master, and overall man of danger. This week: Pictures of babies he's proud of!

The Secret Men: Part 11 - Boys Night with Rusty Shackles
Rusty Shackles joins The Secret Men for a world of magical crime boys named shit like Bosco, Vojo, Qiklop the beautiful cyclops, and Kiki the Bird Baker. We're only making up one of those, and we're lying about making it up.

The Secret Men: Part 12 - Action Gumpin' with David Bell
David Bell joins the ranks of The Secret Men for the reading of a long list of ridiculous names! Sorry, that was last episode. And the episode before. Coming up on this episode: A LONG LIST OF RIDICULOUS NAMES.

The Secret Men: Part 13 - Doctor No with Jason Pargin

Meanwhile, BIGFEETS is almost out of Mountain Monsters. There’s a rumble in the hills, followed by the discovery that this was all Trapper’s fault. Good to get that sorted before the show ends. Imagine leaving a single thing unresolved.
BIGFEETS - Episode 81, Rumble in the Hills
Do you feel that? The rumble in the hills? What could that be? A big bigfoot? A ball of Shaqs? Mountain Monsters biting off way more narrative than they can chew? We'll seeeeee!

BIGFEETS - Episode 82, 1984
In this penultimate episode of BIGFEETS the AIMS boys decide actually, this was all Trapper's fault. That son of a bitch!

As always, you get access to this for free, but if you sign up as a Hot Dog Hero on the Patreon, you get access to all the extra bits too. So many jokes and stories waiting for you!
If you know someone who still has room in their head for cursed knowledge, you can give them a membership. Pick a tier and a duration and full send. Finally, a Halloween treat that makes Thanksgiving conversation worse.
That’s it for now, subscribe to the podcasts and our YouTube channel so I don’t have to keep reminding you.
