Did you know that rose tea and rose water are two separate things? In the video posted here I show you the difference between the two and how to make them! I honestly thought rose tea was rose water before I learned this! Rose tea is usually rose petals brewed with hot water and rose water is actually the clear water that drips from the top of your lid that’s flipped over when boiling.
Many people use roses in pastries, drinks, skincare, potions, spells, rituals and more. Here are some examples:
1.) Rose tea lemonade: I made this and it was really refreshing. I literally just mixed rose tea and pre-made lemonade for mine but I’m sure you can do something fancier. You get a nice hint of floral with the sweetness. The lemons could be used in a cleansing beverage!
2.) Honey & Rose Milk for Self Love: Here is the recipe from Altared Intentions that explains a ritual you can perform with this tea. It sounds absolutely delicious.
3.) Intention Tea Ritual: You can do this ritual with any kind of tea! All you have to do is set an intention while your herbs are seeping in the hot water. The water you’re boiling will absorb your intention! The energy you put into your intention will be absorbed within you when you drink it. Using this energy can help propel you to manifest what you want! If you’re making a rose tea, intentions like love, romance, attraction, psychic development and glamours would get an extra boost.
4.) Enhance Psychic Development: If your specific intention is to increase your psychic abilities, brew a rose tea to drink on Wednesday or during a full and new moon. Wednesday’s are great for psychic development work.
5.) Attraction & Romance: Make your own glamour spray with rose water! Add some essential oils like geranium, jasmine or anything you prefer for an added boost. Wear this on a date!
6.) Self-love: Add some rose tea or rose water to your self-love bath. You can also simply pour rose tea or rose water over yourself to purify and cleanse your aura.
7.) Protection: Make rose water to add to your laundry or spray on your clothes for some added protection to whoever wears it.
