Adjusting the Contest. (Patreon)

So, I have talked with friends and fellow patrons in order to adjust the First comment first serve contest. To try to make it fairer. These are the ideas we have come up with. 

Keep in mind this contest idea is still in the early stages and will be adjusted to help improve people's chances.  

Please, don't suggest I do a R*ffle or anything similar to it. Patreon will only allow a First Comment First serve contest. Please respect that.

❤️ Instead of the first comment being the winner the actual winner will now be changed to the 3rd commenter. This should help those that may be concerned about having a slower internet and reaction time.  

❤️ Patreons are allowed to comment multiple times in order to boost themselves to the 3rd comment.  (Comment doesn't have to have any words you can use single letters or numbers.) 

❤️Contest tiers will be spread throughout the second week of the month with randomized times. So that people in different times zones have a better chance to win. (Announcement of date and general time will still go up one week before actual contest week.)  

-Example: Sketch Contest is released on Tuesday at 9 am (ET) while Flat color is released  on Thursday 8 pm (ET)

❤️Each month the time zones will be rotated for each tier.  -Example: If the sketch tier falls on a PM (ET) the next month it will fall on an AM (ET)

❤️People can only win the contest once before being suspended from the contest in the following month.  

 -Example: If you win the Sketch Tier you can’t enter to win any of the other tiers the following month.

I still don't like the first comment contest. It's still stupid but at least you are listening to us and that I appreciate greatly.

i prefer my idea of just doing it on a rotation so it isnt a contest at all. this is better than nothing, but i would rather it be set up so sticking around long enough would guarantee sucess. if you insist on making it a contest though, could you make the cooldown for winning longer like 3 months or something so we cant get into a situation where the same 2 people win every other month

If the short cooldown becomes a problem then the time will be extended. Till then we will see how this plays out and adjust from there.

another option is moving to another site like subscribestar, patreon isnt exactly nice to adult content creators from what i heard and if you are somewhere that allows raffles then the problem is completely solved

Patreon isn't nice to actual physical real-life porn creators. They don't care about the drawn stuff I have already done the research. Also, the subscribestar is way too new to trust. No, one I know uses that site for me to trust it with my money. The reason Patreon doesn't allow raffles is because it's illegal aka gambling so I'm sure subscribestar would also crackdown on that rule too as they could get in trouble for allowing Illegal actions on their site.
