Yearning - Office AU - shadamy (Patreon)

Hi lovelies, here's today's pic! Some of you saw the doodle on twitter.

It's from my Office AU, as I see new patreons got a liking to it! You can get more info from this previous post. I am posting pics from this AU in chronological order, meaning in the order the scenes unfold in the very limited, written on a post-it, I dunno what I am doing story.

Here we are at the part where Shadow is still in denial that he has affection for Amy. He always thought that love was not for someone like him, plus he has never met someone that made him feel like this. He never let anyone get close enough - and in all my AUs, Shadow is demi sexual, meaning he only feels sexual attraction when feelings and attachement are involved - so he didn't have his lust to push him towards someone.

But here he is, in the longest job he maintained (thanks Rouge for saving his hide every time he misbehave), forced to work with other people, forced to interact with Amy and so he has the opportunity to form a bond, to connect, to share. And, seeing how he behaves, noone is as patient and good willing as Amy, and Shadow has always been a good guy deep down, very caring, and he find no good reason to keep as much distance with her. So really, is it so surprising that they get close?

Is Shadow going to realize his feelings soon? How so? What about Amy? How does she feel? At this point she's starting to loose hope that Sonic might be interested in her but she's still trying... but Shadow is so gentle with her... and he's very cute!
