Sad about Sports Network idea, I shall have a think about the Wrestling stuff, was thinking of Golf With your Friends for it, as well. You and Steggs grinding World of Warships might be good. Minecraft: No Thank You!

Congrats to the future Herself! Great news.

First of all, congratulations on the nuptuals. I concur on the "do what feels right and let it go" policy. (With my view counts I can't AFFORD to be fixated on them.) Make content as best you can, try to keep improving it, let the view counts fall where they may. Of course it's a risky way to plan a future livelihood, but I shall shut my trap at that point. Your comments about the 4x games were interesting; I was a major Civ addict up until about IV, which seemed to cure me of it. V and VI I've dabbled in but they never caught my attention. I have more hours played on Poker Night 2 at the Inventory. My opinion on Minecraft is that it blows chunks. Literally, as it happens. Why don't I own it? Because I don't have time to play as much Transport Fever as I want, nor enough Motorsport Manager (though that's because it takes forever to record and edit it), nor Rome Total War (13 years old and still one of the best out there, certainly better than the travesty that was Rome II), nor City Skylines, nor any of the other games that I actually like and which don't look like abstract Lego sets.

I'm still watching ... I was surprised to hear you did rimworld, I will have to find the older videos. I just bought this and I've enjoyed watching others playing it thinking this would be perfect for you. I wonder if views would be any different now that you have a big transport fever crowd. I know I like both. /shrug.

First and most importantly, congratulations to you both! Secondly, in the minority opinion it seems, and as a late newcomer (how the hell that happened I don’t know) to Minecraft...I’d be down. But that’s because playing Minecraft is fun, but alone gets tedious fast. In a big massive group project type scenario I’d imagine it’d be great fun. Ideas for the future of the channel and upcoming games sound good. So excited for the upcoming MM run as well.

Oh, I forgot to mention the store. It all looks fine and dandy but it looks like Spreadshirt only sells through the UK site (there is no sign of your products when a search of the AU site is done), and the GBP may make prices a tad expensive for those outside of the sceptred isle. It may be worth opening a second front through somewhere like Cafe Press, which seems to have a broader global footprint and slightly more affordable prices, depending on how markups are set, for countries outside the UK. (And I'm thinking here of your colonial friends on the other side of the pond.)

Mark

You mentioned quill18 which is someone I've watched for a long time. He's a very interesting and committed ... what would you call him, content producer? I sometimes wonder if he makes more money on youtube or twitch. All of his twitch streams feature a membership scroll and donations to his channel. The man is a machine when it comes to this stuff. .... As far as Minecraft goes, I'm just bored with it. :)

Congratulations! I'm sure Future Mrs. Failure knows what she's talking about as far as Bad Company guests are concerned. ;) I had a look at the store and I really like the products and the logo. I have to figure out the cost for me in Canada, especially on the shipping. I also do like the new list of games coming up. Looking forward to seeing what's coming! About Minecraft... I do own it, but it isn't something I actually enjoyed the one or two times I gave it a try. Sorry.

NH Birddog

Congratulations on you & Nova tying the knot. As far as merchandise goes how about a pocketed blue denim shirt like the one your wearing in this video with just a logo over the pocket? All of my shirts have a pocket I guess. I'm a professor so I always need a place for a pencil & or a pen. Just Saying. I myself started playing Mashinky and I'm having fun with it. Do you plan on doing any more episodes of that in the future? Keep up the good work.

Tsass0

Congratulations to u and your wonderful manager Nova tying the knot.

CaptainKarta

Congratulations to the both of you!

Hokay. Here we go, fight pateon again whilst typing a comment. The schedule is fine for me :D No complaints at all, New patreon tier upgrades are cool as well! Minecraft is...meh, fine. I played it loads back in the days, and Still got the game installed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Slightly dissapointed the refined dining attire has not returned (as of yet) But I do like the new store so far.

Diederik Willems

Congratulations to both of you on your wedding! Other that "NO MINECRAFT!" I don't have any comments and look forward to seeing the channel evolve. I don't mind the occasional sell-out if done well. After all, Transport Fever is how I discovered your channel. I think the most important thing (I think I mentioned this some time ago) is doing what you enjoy doing. It'll show in the finished videos and they'll be better for it. The store looks nice. The designs too. I'll put one of those T-shirts on my Christmas list. A mug would be nice as well. I hope you and Steggs get the sporting thing out of the starting blocks. On paper it sounds like a hoot and a half. I have no meaningful insights to offer on this.

Johannes Saari

Aww no internet people, though that might be a good decision. Also Congrats! The spinning cube is better at the end of the video, didn't get in the way or disturb as much as it would in the beginning.

The Skipper

It appears that I may be in the minority as to Minecraft. I run a private server for friends and family since 2012. The "vanilla" game is okay, but using mods such as the Technic series really makes for fun multi-player gaming.

First off Congratulations on the engagement. It seems to come at a good time prior to you moving into your new house. Was looking forward to an update on that in this reduced but I guess ill wait another couple of months. As for Minecraft I myself have played countless hours of it and feel the boat sailed long ago for that game. The new store is looking good. The new emblems and slogans work well together and it gives the store a nice remodel. I can happily say I am one of probably few people who have an original first edition Colonel Failure Hoodie and Mug. Speaking of Mugs You have yet to put the new logo on one. You talked about soul selling and I personally don't have any problem with you doing that as long as we still get our core content "Transport Fever." When you enjoy a game there is an extra level of effort and enthusiasm that goes into the video that adds a entertainment value that cannot be created any other way. Speaking of Transport Fever when this series wraps up I believe you need to take an old page out of the Colonels Big Book Of Plans for the following series. I feel as if we have lost some nostalgia along the way. I couldn't tell you a single name of a town in the current series without pulling up a video and looking. Where as in the original North Atlantic series I could list quite a few without looking. " Onionjack, Tsass, Telman, Herrbear, Skipachu, Pacific Diamond and Christmas." We as the viewers cared about each and every city in that series because the city's were relatable it was very interesting to see them get bulldozed and remodeled. You put such dedication into that series you even reskinned metroliners in different liveries for different people. Hell even the map was custom built. We had such fun with the "20 million dollar bridge" meme it almost drove you mad. Episode #55 Planking that was uploaded the other day had a 5+ million dollar bridge in it and nobody batted an eye. I understand you don't want to be a one hit wonder and constantly play the same game but if the next Transport Fever series is the last I beg you to try to make it as good as the last train fever series.

GrunfWorks

Hi Colonel and congrats on the engagements. Just wanted to turn your attention to a game that I think would be very interesting for you: Bomber Crew. I am already making vids on that one on my channel, and it is hillarious, and tense, would gel perfectly with your rank and ability to yell at little AI guys. Here is the link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/537800/Bomber_Crew/

The 20K episode was as entertaining as always but you did skimp on one question, and I don't know whether it was by design or not so I'm putting this as a "back office" comment. The first one to ask about your kit did also ask about your software, which isn't listed on your kit page. I noticed that because I was curious as well. I use Camtasia but the blooms have long since departed the rosebush and the stars have dissipated from the eyes. I'm therefore curious to know what you use and whether it offers improved workflow. (PS, ahem, I happen to have a 32 Gig machine and use every morsel of it. Though admittedly my main schtick is in memory OLAP applications.)

The TM1 Channel (aka Kirkus Octavius)

Oh, PPS... what do you mean that Motorsport Manager is STRANGELY popular?? It's a great and very videogenic game! OK, it's not popular on my channel amongst other reasons because it gets buried on search page 797, but in general, I mean. I'm going to try your suggestion to ask for likes; it's something that I've been reluctant to do and at present I'm getting 1 to 2 per video. It'll be interesting to see whether your theory holds. (Of course it's equally possible that people just DON'T like them, but it's worth a shot...)

So I was watching the latest Airport CEO today, which was #10. I remembered the Colonel saying in this video that he was going to do 10 episodes and out, yet this was episode 10 and he seemed to have definite plans for the future. Then I watched this again and saw that the actual commitment was to ten-ish episodes. This is not the point. What caught my eye was that this is the episode for October. "Wait, what, I'm sure it was the one for November," I muttered to myself. No, this was published on 16 October. I know we do the "Where has the time gone" thing regularly but that's over 3.5 weeks ago. If anyone knows where they have gone, I'd very much like them back.
