A note of caution before watching this video, I tackle a few personal topics that can be quite biological in nature. Don't be afraid of your own biology, that's the message. Regardless, this video deals with some mature themes and may not be suited to the usual family viewing (there's some minor-league swearing involved, I think 2 instances in total but maybe 3).   Discretion recommended.

Not watched all yet, but just wanted to say. You have been there for quite a few of us when we needed something, you may not of known it at the time, but you were there none the less. I've been with you now I think for 4 ish years.. I think and you have one hell of a community. I, we, us the community are here for you and herself. If you need anything there will be someone in this community that can help in some way I am sure. Thoughts with you, herself and the family. Much love x Diet1985

All the good and hopeful wishes unto you. Your video hits home very hard. Every member of my family has had cancer by the time they turned 50. Keep supporting her and let herself know she is still the bulldozer of your eye.

Exia

Just going to say real life comes first, take as much time as you need for family health

NanuNanu76

Also, the “everything has to have a funny side” of me also wants to say … sooooo, no cakes? Thanks for the PSA. Dudes, if you’re 45 or older, GET SCOPED!

SageMoonblade

A community should support every member and that goes for the one at the top to the one at the bottom. I have not been here as long as some of the others but I am here not only to support what you do in the best way possible but you as the person who has helped more people than you think. We are all human. We make mistakes. We have health issues. We have mental breakdowns. I can't speak for everyone but if you need a break for a few days I will still be here when you get back. Even robots and computers have problems but unlike them we have emotions, loved ones and parts that are, sadly, less replaceable. Do what you need to do, try to keep us in the loop and don't ever be sorry for being human.

Cnl, I don't know how to express myself properly here. I want to tell you and herself that you will be in my thoughts. I admire your courage in stepping forward with this posting in the midst of such pain. I am glad you are getting back in the saddle, as I think it's part of who and what you are, and you need to nurture yourself, as much as your loved ones in the long haul. "Now get back to work!" Sincerely, Jeff.

Chill Bill

Best wishes to herself and yourself Colonel. Take as much time out as you need whenever you need it.

Dear Colonel, Exactly three years ago, I got my diagnosis. During the time in the clinic I discovered your channel. Your nonsense has often comforted me and helped me through difficult phases. Since then I support you (with a short interruption) constantly. From my own experience I can only advise everyone who reads here, let yourself be checked regularly. Cancer is no longer that it hits someone we once remotely heard of. It has become epidemic. A diagnosis like this changes all priorities. A great support for me was the offer of the Psycho-oncology center here in Munich. So, My second recommendation is to take advantage of such offers to sort out unimportant ballast. They do a great job. I wish your wife healing, strength and confidence. Take yourself all the time in the world that it needs. /Joachim

Take as much time as you need. We always have the back catalogue to keep us entertained. You have supported my mental health through the pandemic, so I'm more than willing to return that support now. All the best to herself, you and your family. Take care.

My HerIndoors went through similar some time ago -not much to say - its different for eveyone. Weirdly, some good things can come from it - hope that's the same for both of you. Only word of advice for what its worth - find someone you can offload to - in technocolour! who wont judge - I found it a great help. HerIndoors sends her love.

Wow such an emotional watch, lump in throat throughout. As a person of a little faith all I can say is our prayers and thoughts are with you, whilst you do what you have to. Family first as always. God bless you all.

James Eckert Sr.

I wish both of you the best of luck. BTW, I get that we're on rung two, but for us you're on rung four at least. If you were in the neighborhood, we'd say stop by! Except we're still rung two.

Alfred Wallace

I hate it when my pessimistic inferences are borne out. I wish the best for you all; hopefully the little world of video nonsense (don't say "high quality content"!) can remain a haven for you.

Tomáš Hrdina (Heroberg)

I am very sorry to hear that your family is having such hard times. My thoughts are with you.

Robert Goswell

My thoughts are with you and your family Colonel. Take care and remember to look after yourself aswell

Mr. McBaldspot

Take care of your family first! There's plenty of other things for us to entertain ourselves while you put first things first.

Andrew Dennison

A very moving yet inspirational video Colonel; one only you could do in a way only you could do it. Heartfelt best wishes to herself, yourself and your families. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure this will help others, and certainly it gave me a new perspective on past events.

King_John651

I'll say that this was quite the emotional roller coaster and I wish you, the family, and particularly Herself the best

Richard Williams

I am not usually short of words, but am finding it diffiicult to explain the effect that this video had on me. Very moving, informative, such a contrast to your normal content, but delivered in your inimitable style. All I can do is wish you both, and your extended family, the best for the future.

Andrew

Regardless of ladder rungs, your family is important to mine and so many of ours out there. We appreciate you feeling enough about us to share the further insight into your lives and your absence, now please take the time you need and be well. Make this situation go and “do one!”

Josh Sprague

Pulling for you, Herself, and the entire family. Thank you for providing hours of entertainment and fun over the last three years.

The Skipper

Unfortunately, I've been down that road with my mother, one of my sisters, and, even closer, my middle daughter. It is very hard to keep you chin up when you see love ones hurting. I have been a member of your Patrean for 3+ years because I found you to be the best Youtuber for me. Your wit and unscripted videos are an enjoyable routine that I look forward to each day. With that, I (and my youngest daughter) have been concerned at the lack of content lately. Thank-you for the update and our prayers are for you, yours and especially Herself.

yeabil

thanks for sharing,, this helps us to put life in perspective . you are strong and herself is brave

Lars Rocksén

I work as an intensive care physician in Sweden. Your videos pulled me through some rough times with close relatives struggling with cancer during the pressure of COVID. Your clear communication about these matters is impressive. All the best to you and Herself. Take care.

kettu31

One of the best videos. Take care.

George Will Brooks

Thank you for what you've done here. I join in the feelings of love and support the others have expressed. I wish you were close enough to hug.

Cory (1701)

Hey man, you’ve supported us through with your stories and content, we got you this time round. You do what’s best for herself, the kids and yourself.

Mark McGinnis

I didn't even get 1 minute into this video on my first try. This tragic news did get me to join the Fail Brigade, which feels like about 1% of what I want to do. I have been there myself (13 years ago) and I can say it really does get easier. Never easy, but easier.

Bjarne Nilsson

Hope you bith ar doing as well as can be expected by the sercomstances, i've just been thinking if ways you can poke the yr alorythm without to much time and energy beeing expended. Maybe just pusing out some earlier oackers only stuff so it dies not seam like the channel has died, I kniw it's far from ideal with the older stuff not veing as tightly edited and might cover older games of less internet now, but shurely it myst be somewhat better than having nothing at all. But thus is just my £.02 and you obviosly have way mire important and energy draining stuff on your plate, so I hope you taki this in the spurrit ut was iffered, my only intention was to help in any small way I'm able to

ronnie van den heuvel

Found your Patreon because i wondered why the yourube streams dried up. Sad to find out why :( The best to the both of you !! Take the best of care of the misses and yourself !!
