--The "twelve models" refers to 12 different human faces, not the number of copies of each face. Six is model number 6, but there could be hundreds or thousands of Sixes. Boomer has been mentioned as a number 8, and there can be thousands of Eights. Different copies do not seem to share the same consciousness, given the way Boomer interacts with the other Eights, so the Six who fought Starbuck wouldn't have any knowledge of what HeadSix is doing with Baltar at the time-- assuming HeadSix is even really a cylon, which we don't know one way or the other (she could still be a hallucination). --In last week's episode, when Roslin has a vision of those ruins being intact, the priest (I don't recall her name) mentioned it was the Opera House in the center of the forum on Kobol, and since it's got an illustration in their scriptures it's presumably a building of more religious significance than just a theater. I think we're meant to understand that's the building Baltar sees a vision of when he's with HeadSix.

I believe the ruins Gaius was in, and what he envisioned was the Opera House of Kobol mentioned last episode. Certainly a shocking season ending. You know they filmed it not knowing if they were even gonna get a second season? Even though S2 aired quite soon afterwards. Poor Adama. He's mad the President broke their deal that he has military control, so she betrayed him. Roslin used Starbuck to do so, so Starbuck betrayed him. Apollo mutinied and betrayed him. And then Boomer shoots him. That's a lot of betrayal in one day.

Great reaction! I would love to see you all get a group together and stream playing the BSG boardgame once you've finished the show. Perhaps with "confession booth"-style discussion about the game and your thoughts on the game and other players as you play. That would be awesome!

Good to see Colonel Saul Tigh get some recognition on his competence, he's my favourite character of the entire show. Yes he's a drunk, and his wife is reprehensible, but he is loyal without fault to Adama and makes the tough calls to save lives. Also, he wants to be a better person - either by giving up drinking or trying to rebuild relationships such as with Starbuck, even if he often gets the approach completely wrong.

Michael Hogan is a great actor too. He manages to not just look angry and incredulous when Apollo puts a gun to his head, but genuinely scared of the gun being pointed at him too.

I feel like Adama 100% knew Boomer tried to kill herself, and that's EXACTLY why he chose her for that mission. His emphasis on it being "extremely high risk". He could've used someone else. Charitably, he was offering her a chance to die as a hero. Uncharitably, he knew she was broken and didn't want to lose one of his 'useful' pilots.

Baltar and Six were in the Opera House on Kobol. Those were the ruins of the opera house. Roslin mentioned it when she was looking at the map of the ruins, but she saw the in tact city around the opera house.

The BSG board game is awesome if you can find it. Out of print now. There is a new version with the same game mechanics and a Cthulhu theme, because the publishers lost the BSG license.

I really hope you're able to avoid spoilers for the entire run of the show. The end of this episode would have been so ruined if you had been spoiled. It's so much more fun not knowing.

Hello, I am here to see the reaction at the end of this episode lol. Kat getting out of her chair with jaw dropped is a top tier reaction and it was what we all did when first watching it. They did such an amazing job with that finale. Certain storylines wrapped up that would immediately lead into others. As for what will happen in Season 2, like a certain video game says, "This action will have consequences."

Ah, I didn't know that! I've got a copy from when it first came out, but I never picked up any of the expansions. I'm not too sure how much they added to the game, but the base game was great fun!
