I can tell from the sad faces on the thumbnail that we're in for another heavy episode of BSG.

When I say that I will never stop making the same joke about conflating these shows, I mean that I have faith that LD will be resurrected.

Let's say the season finale of season 3 hits hard. Brace yourselves 🤔🙏

A fully-autonomous Starfleet ship? That's never gone wrong! Still, maybe this time... (I guess if you count holograms as part of a ship and not people, hologram-crewed ships have saved the day a couple times... but I would count them as people.)

I want to hear how Meemaw is doing! Seriously, I once had a similar conversation with my therapist as you did Kat. I asked her something to the effect that between BiPolar II depression and OCD might I someday do something to hurt people. She looked at me for a moment and then pulled her chair back from me about a foot! Did not inspire confidence

Please never stop. I look forward to these comments - Kat

This has all happened before And it will happen again

Storytelling wis3 I knew she wouldn't bad mouth the ship. Do appreciate the gang still had her. Boimler probably the worst saying just apologize but still didn't want her to leave.

Buenamigo isn't related to Mariner; she just called him her "uncle" the way one sometimes does with close family friends.

The koala *is* in the opening - but not specifically the Lower Decks opening credits. It's in the whooshy rainbow general Star Trek opening that plays before the show.

Leafsdude

The Prince song is "Let's Go Crazy". :)

I def thought Mariner was just being brutally honest, so I'm glad the included that twist in the story!

If you're planning on watching Strange New Worlds then just ignore the rest of this post. But if you're not... I don't know how far ahead you pals are, but if you're interested in watching the Strange New Worlds/Lower Decks crossover, between seasons would be a good time to do it. It's not required viewing or anything, but it is a ton of fun (and you don't need to have watched Strange New Worlds to enjoy it) and that's roughly when it occurs, chronologically.

Can't remember if this has been mentioned before, but as support ships, the California class is divided into subcategories based on their intended use: command, engineering, science. The Cerritos is an engineering focused ship, which means it has heavy-duty warp core and tractor beams for powering projects and towing things. It has some subtle yellow strips on the nacelles to denote this.

yes, all troubles are always because of singular masters AI. groups of AI that have multiple personalities and human-like are always cool. wait... never mind, I just realized I have been describing the Cylons, forget everything I said
